quick fix...that's a good one! wait till you have a rusted off 10mm bolt in the front left! hammered a 9mm on and got it out but man, what a mess!

Wow that was all hard to watch!!! Didn’t even make it to the end!! No “correct tool” was even used!! I’m glad I’m certified, not you tube certified!!

I removed all bolts and both the stud nuts, I removed the transmission mount nuts also. It still feels like I am lifting the whole truck. Ill removed the fan shroud and the intake but the blades were not even touching the shroud yet and I raised the jack a good 4 inches. Perhaps I am just being too cautious. Maybe I will just send it and hope I don't crush my pan haha.

Don't have to remove all that. Front is a 30 min removal and install from top and front bottom. Side is about an hour thru the top just removing coolant resovoir to the side along with power steering resovoir. Rear one can be done without removing exhaust. You doing toooo much

That's a lot of extra work.

I had to remove the axle bolt and caliper and it still didn’t drop enough but I got it in definitely was a tight fit. Horrible design by Nissan. It’s not that easy when trying to install that lower part on the ground.

I worked on my mom’s Highlander today. You don’t have to remove the throttle body out of the way. I removed the intake hose out, and that gave me enough space to remove the intake manifold. The left screw in the back is the hardest part of the job. Thank you for the informative video.

Those Allen wrench screws are a b**** if they haven’t been touched for years.

This is not for 2010 and newer. It’s a different 3.0 engine

Best video out there showing how to actually pull the alternator out of the tight space it's wedged into. Showing how to orient it so the "long neck" faces the front then pull it out worked (16:50 minutes into the video). Spent a while trying to figure that one out before finding your video.
