Grazie Bernat. Utilissimo tutorial. L'hai divisa in 3 chips.
@WoodBernCarvingsАй бұрын
Hi Alessandro! I would suggest to go with smaller chips. Make sure you knife is sharp and working on a soft wood such as basswood. If you want to do bigger chips, even in soft wood, you need to repeat the cuts a few times, at least until you have some practice. I now can remove big chips with 3 cuts, but it requires a bit more experience. There is nothing wrong in repeating the cuts several times until you remove the chip, with time you'll be able to remove it fully with your first cuts. Hope it helps!

I enjoy seeing the workshop videos 👍 Do you ideally design first before buying wood (so that you know what dimensions you need)? Or do you design for a specific piece of wood?
@WoodBernCarvings6 ай бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! I’m now starting to carve bigger pieces and I’m not so much of a designer. So I procrastinate when it comes to drawing and planning a pattern. :P Few time I know exactly what I’m going to do, others I spend quuite a lot of tume thinking, carving a bit, more thinking, etc! Keep in touch, Bernat

E continue fazendo maravilhas!
