Cameras not as nice and if you already have these features then Max could be much better. For older truck like mine was wanting to add a few modern features so work out very nice.

We have learned since making this video that these particular mounts DO NOT fit the 351C as we thought they would. Unfortunately CJ Pony Parts did a horrible job of describing and I did a horrible job of not confirming with them prior to purchase. A $200 lesson in this video.

As you know, direct injection engines do not allow the fuel mixture to flow past the intake valves. In addition, oil rich exhaust gases that build up in the oil crankcase are vented back into the intake manifold. Deposits from this oily air gather on the intake valve and cook over time creating carbon build up. Ford, Toyota, and recently Hyundai have fuel systems that feature both direct injection (with all of its benefits) AND intake port fuel injection which allows the detergent additives in gasoline to wash over the intake valves to help keep them clean and free from deposits. The Hyundai system is called Smartstream. Although this system does other things to better engine performance and efficiency, one of its main benefits is helping to keep the intake valves clean. The engine in your video has this technology. Not all Hyundai/Kia vehicles do. While cleaning the intake valves is probably a good idea, it shouldn't be as critical on a Smartstream engine. By the way, carbon build up on intake valves with direct injection only fuel systems can happen in as little as 5000 miles. Finally, I'm not so sure about the efficacy of chemical intake cleaners. (I bet you don't know what STP stands for. Scientifically Tested Products.)

Thank you for the kind and detailed explanation video. I installed the fog light that I wanted to install on my Forester since 14 years ago with the help of this video. The four parts can now be purchased for less than $100. Ali Express (a pair of fog lamps $28, o ring cover $8) is the same product, but is much cheaper than Amazon. Turn Signal Switch is $29 on Amazon. However, the relay was not available at Subaru dealers or nearby parts shops. I bought it on Amazon for $19. Of the 4 parts, only the relay is made in Japan, the rest are from china.... I am very satisfied after installation... Thank you...

What about suspension and ride smoothness on rough pavement?

@SpiritedWrenchers 7 күн бұрын
Hi yvesn58. Thanks for watching. We really appreciate that. Your question is a tough one and is up to perception. What one says it's smooth, another will say the road is really rough. In our experience with our roads here in OH, it drives great. We've taken it on road trips through many states and seasonal roads and we don't have one complaint about the different modes and how comfortable it is on the road. Hope that helps. @@SpiritedWrenchers Let's put it in other words. Is it well soundproof or you hear/feel every crack in the road?
@SpiritedWrenchers
@SpiritedWrenchers 7 күн бұрын
@@yvesn58 I wish we could answer that question but it's impossible because one persons expectations may be higher than another's. It's very quiet on the inside from our stand point. If it weren't we wouldn't have paid what they were asking for it and put almost 40,000 miles already. Also road noise and suspension are 2 different things. Road cracks feel much different in the Santa Fe than our WRX, but that would be expected because they are different cars with different suspensions. That is another impossible category to give a definitive answer on. We highly recommend to go test drive one to experience it first hand. That's the best way to know in your own city/state/road conditions.

How do you know what fuse to use?
@SpiritedWrenchers
@SpiritedWrenchers 6 күн бұрын
Hi Dana. Thank you for watching and asking. We tend to choose fuses that are accessory related for the most part. We stay away from any safety related features or critical device fuses in the event there is a failure, it doesn't stop the car from operating. Ideally you can use a voltage meter to test the fuse when the car is running and turned off to identify which one has the power at the right times. We do not run ours 24/7 so I want something that turns off with the key, i.e. radio, windows, accessories. Hope that helps. Stay safe out there.

Been doing oil changes since the 1960's. If a torque wrench isn't available, just tighten the oil filter housing by hand as tight as you can and the do another quarter turn with a socket wrench. The oil drain plug just has to be snug. By the way, you didn't mention replacing the little O ring on the filter housing plug or the torque specs for that (5 nm). Again, just snug that up. Great video.

Hi Mike, thanks for watching and providing this explanation along with the kind words! This is how we were taught as well, but we do like to use a torque wrench when possible just to be on the safe side. Our kit came with a whole new filter housing plug with the o-ring pre-installed on it; but it's a great idea to call out that we need to keep an eye on it and make sure the old one doesn't stay on the housing when you remove the old one. Encouragement like yours helps to keep us going! Take care and stay safe

You were very gracious to respond! By the way, I just did my first oil change on my wife's Hyundai and those little stinkers made it much more complicated than it has to be. I'm sure they have their reasons but it's beyond me. As an aside, my wife's old Subaru oil change was a breeze. It had a spin on filter topside on the front of the engine. It was facing down so when you took it off it was already drained. Once you drained the oil pan, everything else was done standing up. How cool is that? Anyway, I really appreciated your video, it was a great help. God bless.

Although we had delays in shipping from across the ocean, their customer service was amazing by keeping us informed the entire time. Purple Leaf is another large brand. We don't know how they are, but other viewers told us the instruction manual was exactly the same as Kozyard, so we added that brand to our title to help those that purchased their gazebo. We have the 10x12 here in Tampa, FL. It has been solid through tropical storm forced winds and a few nasty nasty high wind thunderstorms. It doesn’t leak. We installed a wet rated ceiling fan. And YES the curtains do blow around quite a bit. They are almost unusable. But they are quite long lasting even in the Florida sun. Ours was purchased in 2020. It is 4 years old this past June. It looks like we just bought it. I have done some awesome mods using Coolaroo rolling shades on 3 sides, with a bungee ball wall on the back made of the same material as the shades. The Coolaroo shades are a size smaller than each wall length to let light and breezes through. It also allows you to place hanging plants and flowers on the sides. Hello sir, after watching your video I'm ordering one right now purple leaf 12x24. Hope it will arrive within a week, and if i have any hiccups i might ask here again. Just one question, did you mount original bolt with deck or you purchased your own? I'm planning to mount on concrete.

@itsmekinco Hi Bashab. Thank you for watching and sharing. We're thrilled that our videos helped you make a decision on your gazebo purchase. We hope it turns out great. For the bolts, I purchased my own. If you are mounting to concrete, I would recommend that you get drop in anchors and then use bolts with them. For example, check out our air compressor video. We used anchors to mount that to the concrete floor. Hope that helps. Come back and let us know how it went. Cheers!
