@@Avaragenormalperson Thank you. Right now it’s just affecting the San Diego Command Center, which does affect the other departments San Diego dispatches for. This is the longest I’ve seen it down, I imagine it will be back up by tomorrow. The San Diego system goes down frequently, not sure why.

Yes! So glad it’s back up! Planning a trip to downtown San Diego at a Marriott on 701 A Street. I get to spend 2 nights there and I hope to see something from station 1. Hopefully get a good view from my room to see if I can see any emergencies that would be awesome! Does station 1 have an ambulance? because I am pretty sure they do but some websites don’t show that they have an ambulance. Do the BLS units move around town because I was on PulsePoint and I wanted to know if they are stationed at 1 place or move around. Sorry for all the questions. Love your channel!

@@Avaragenormalperson Station 1 has Falck Medic 1 stationed there. The BLS units move around the city wherever they are needed.

Heartland-Fire Rescue RE12 (La Mesa), is now qualified as a USAR due to recent modifications. So on the runs it should now be coming up as USAR12. It is cross-staffed by the crew for a new E12 (Pierce). USAR12 will be the reserve rig for Fs12, from my understanding. USAR12 does not have much in the way of confined space tools/materials.

Hopefully I will get back to going out and getting videos here soon and not just getting close by videos. I think the front line M24 is 827, so this unit might be a backup/reserve.

Nice. Heartland Fire-Rescue RE-12 has now been modified into USAR-12 for the Heartland district. It still retains the pump and tank, with hose line reduced to allow for more equipment/tools/supplies storage. While it is USAR rated, it is not for confined space rescues. A new Pierce pumper is in action at Fs12 for front line, while USAR-12 will serve as the reserve engine for the house.

41s actually has a big area they cover- Bleed over to 38s and 35s area as well a lot ...Mira Mesa, Sorrento Valley, La Jolla....

Love the catch….. Can’t for the new tiller truck for station 20 to be rolling…. I keep seeing that rig just sitting there every time I roll pass by on the 805 to the 163 connection to the 15.

I agree, right now Carlsbad Fire Department is the only agency in San Diego County I know of that uses Seagrave fire apparatus. San Diego City, National City, and Chula Vista used to have Seagrave apparatus back in the 1980s and 1990s now they switched to Pierce like the majority of the fire departments in the county and the USA.

Thank you for viewing. If you’re going to be downtown Stations 1 and 4, but Stations 12, 17, and 29 are the busiest stations.

Since I live around there, I don’t think that they respond very often at all definitely the stations around them cover more calls then 42 does.

Thanks. I’m not very familiar with ambulance manufacturers, but I think 238 is an AEV and 237 is a Braun.
