That vacation was just an excuse for Mike to escape the situation he put himself in with his ex-wife. I feel so bad for Jake. He was probably looking forward to that vacation like Sarah's daughter. Only for an addicted mother to ruin everything

I saw his true colors. He is not justified. He deserves to rot in jail. His family is going to disown him when he gets out he's going to be all alone and only has himself to blame his family wants nothing to do with him now in his final moment when he dies he's going to regret what he did.

I’m a little confused 🤔. Didn’t they have joint custody? Why don’t we see Lily with her father? It seems like OP has sole custody. I don’t understand the ex-husband. He said he didn’t tell OP that Lily was his daughter because he was afraid that OP would leave him. Lily was a result from a previous relationship before OP came into the picture. He should have told OP the minute he found out he had a daughter. As a result, she left him for not telling the truth about Lily.

If I'd done this to my sis-in-law, my brother would have made sure I was eating through a straw at minimum. Ryan should count his blessings he didn't receive something like that.

What's with all the strange arm movements they draw the characters with. Op at the beginning looks like she's doing some kind of exercise. Anyway Chris has a lot of nerve expecting Emily to help him, they way he treated her. She owes him nothing.

When did she become sole guardian and I wonder why that happened. Like another poster said this story is BS. She should have never had full custody unless he was proved unfit.

For one thing the kids are not babies. They look too old to need a babysitter. Another thing why did the OP think that once she found out the stepfather was going, that she was going to get a room with just her mother and the stepfather and the kids were going to sleep in another room. Most of the time married couples are going to have the same room. One she found out the stepfather was also going she probably shouldn't have went. She probably should have made her mother understand she only wanted this to be a mother/daughter trip so they could reconnect. If she wanted to go to Greece with her husband they could do that on their own dime.

I know pregnancy can be hard on women, but in most of these situations it seems like they treat the pregnant woman like she is totallly helpless even in the earlier months. If funny how the MIL is always putting the DIL to work but she never does anything herself.

What a crazy family. SIL doesn't have the time to be pregnant, so she has the nerve to demand her SIL give her one of her babies so she can enjoy motherhood at her expense. They did the right thing getting away from those fools.

Paramedics *cannot* force you to go to the hospital if you don't want to go. I've personally refused to go to the hospital when I should have. Since the OP was in good health, she definitely could have refused.

Aftermath Story; five years later Nacey was free yet despite her time in prison she had not relented if anything this fueled her hatred towards Amanda even more. The court had order Nacey to stay away but that did not stop her, if anything she eventually spotted her DIL, her five year old grandson happily playing and a baby girl in Amanda's arms. Amanda had given birth to their daughter just a few years after their son. Nacey fueled by deep hatred and resentment decide to get rid of the one obstacle that stood her way once and for all. She waited until john and their son had left for the day before quietly breaking into the house. She grabbed one of the kitchen knifes and spotted amanda reading in the living room. Carefully she crept behind Amanda but before she could make her move Amanda spotted her reflection on the living mirror and jumped away from her just in time. "What are you doing Nacey?!" Amanda shouted "Your an uneducated and unworthy women for my Son I have to protect him and My grandchildren from your bad influence." Nacey screeched back. Nacey lunged at Amanda but Amanda was younger and faster Quickly got away. she went into her daughter's room grabbed her Daughter and Quickly locked herself in Her and her husband bedroom. Hiding in her closet her daughter crying in one of her arms she trumbled as she Quickly dialed 911. Meanwhile John who had forgotten something came back home and noticed that the door was unlocked and slightly opened.he went inside and when he heard commotion upstairs he saw his mother pounding and stabbing the door demanding to be let in. Quickly he grabbed and held down his mother shouting at her to stop but Nacey kept on ranting and raving at john to let her go and how she was thinking about whats best for him. It did not take long for the police to come and arrest Nacey as soon as it was safe Amanda opened the door and imbraced john. Nacey was sent to a prison for the criminally insane. John and Amanda not wanting to take anymore chances took their children and moved somewhere far away to start a fresh, covering their tracks as best they could.

Seriously that mother is a wacko and only thinking about John and his money. Seriously, trying to hijack someone's child and put it up for adoption is literally not cool! That mother needs to go to the mental ward and stay there. Also just because the wife didn't go through college doesn't mean that she is considered unfit. My mother went through the workforce without college and she had children of her own.

Very good job dudes and greatly well done!!!! Congratulations 990.31% yo throughout the 3rd sizzling patriotic week of said jubilant July y'all. Only 5 years and 171% compensation either? How is this justice? The old hag will be out in no time and cause problems for them again, she is a mental basket case and will probably nevermore come back to bother them again. I hope Op and her husband take security measures to make sure she stays away when she is released. Wishing Op and her family all the best.

She is her mother if she was legally adopted. I agree thought he should have got full custody of her though she was his natural daughter and the wife felt deceived by finding out. It also seems MIke was right she did leave him after she find out about Lily.

So the mother-in-law said the daughter-in-law wasn’t good enough to be a mother because she didn’t have a college education. What kind of stupidity is that. You don’t need a college education to be a mother. A very abusive mother-in-law, asking if her daughter understood what she read and the baby books really understood. And she kidnapped the baby to get it away from her because she didn’t think she could understand being a mother. Five years was not enough time and that woman needs to see a psychiatrist because she has some big big mental issues. You don’t think if she gets out after five years that she’s not gonna cause more trouble. She’s the kind of woman that will cost them more trouble when she gets out of jail.

Later on and Nancy was released from prison, she tried to get back in to her son's life and still did not change but then both MC and her husband snapped and the MC beat her and slapped her in the face and pulled her hair off so brutally until she ran off and since then she has not been the same and is now living at a retirement home supported by the government. She has been suffering from dementia.

Nancy is beyond sick. They should have gotten a restraining order and leave her behind Stealing someone else's baby and setting them up for adoption is kidnapping and heartless. Her losing her husband excuses nothing. Nancy's a grown woman, she needs to act like it

They should have got a restraining order because Nancy was out of control. Kidnapping and trying to get rid of the baby? It's one thing to criticize and harass someone. But what Nancy did was she's out of control. I understand she's lonely because her husband passed, but that doesn't give her the right to interfere in her son's life and do what she did.

It's possible that the op moved to a undisclosed location and even had a GPS tracker surgically planted in the child. There's also a possibility that they did get a restraining order just for good measure. The truth is it's not our business necessarily to know any of this in order to protect the kid.
