I LOVE that you wear this amazing blue/green colour on your nails while doing a super "dirty, messy" manual job. Cool video ! Very peaceful.

G'day from Australia! I enjoy watching you work, and all the sounds of farriering as well as the background ambience. It's great to see a woman on the tools! I had two horses in my younger days (both gone for 10+ years now) and both were tended by wonderful lady farriers/barefoot trimmers for many years.

Just watched your commentary regarding the job of Farrier. I think it is amazing that you are doing it and pressing on even in the midst of trying to get your Journeyman . I am from the States but live in the mountains of Peru. I have a horse and have had to learn how to trim and cold shoe my horse. It is still a learning experience. Thanks for the video.

You’re an amazing young lady. I’ve had shoes put on horses many times and it always looks so complicated to get them fitting properly to help the horse not hinder. You know your stuff. Good job. 👍👍

Greetings from Peru. Actually I wondered why you would want to put shoes on your horse that appears to have excellent bare foot. Great job though.

She has great feet. She is just a good horse with good feet to practice on.

I’m so clumsy I could never do your job🐴 I cringe when you use the sharp knife on the frog part of the hoof pulling towards you🫣you look like a pro👍question.. blacksmith now called ferrier ?
@Hudsonsfarrierservice3 ай бұрын
Blacksmiths and farriers are different things. Farriers work with horses, blacksmiths just work with steel

Why do some horses get shoes and some don’t?
@Hudsonsfarrierservice4 ай бұрын
That’s a good question. There’s 3 main reasons to shoe a horse. Correction, lameness and traction. Almost all horses with shoes will fall into one of those categories
