i dont know why but my brush become doesnt change and its still round

Great tutorial I have a problem when I want to delete part of a stroke made with a calligraphic brush with the eraser tool it changes the brush and I end up with a totally different brush. How can you delete part of a line made with calligraphic brush or this is also happening with the blob brush tool

How do you Color the work by just selecting @ 3:47 are you selecting all and unifying under pathfinder? I love your work I'm just trying to understand more of your workflow since you seem to only use 2 layers to work.

Did you use Ctrl + X in any moment to cut the mask shape after copying and pasting the newly made Circle in that example? the command shortcuts you put at the start, for those who are begginners are really useful, but sometimes I got confused not with the tutorial itself, I'm not rly begginner, but because of your somehow suppressed voice + the accent couldn't fully fathom some details at copying steps ( I just noticed auto generated captions is not really precise and was mixing english with german words) but nonetherless I grasped the concept, and good tuto overall.

Thanks for this! With your setup, do you draw directly on your screen, or do you use some sort of Wacom tablet? I ask because I have a touch screen laptop that I draw directly onto with a digital pen. Its a slippery surface so it's hard having control over my lines.
