It's a miracle any of us chose to follow Jesus. "The God of this world has blinded the hearts and minds of unbelievers." (Bible) "Ephesians 2:4-5 - “But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were [spiritually] dead through our sins and trespasses, made us alive together with Christ - by grace you have been saved.” God opens our eyes. It takes humility and honesty to to accept you are a sinner, and to turn away from your selfish and sinful desires. God does all the rest. He transforms you and saves your soul from eternal damnation. "God is love". The cross of Jesus Christ is foolishness to the perishing, rebellious world. How a sacrifice can save your soul is purely the love and wisdom of God at work.

Lou was always one of my favorites. I always considered him America’s answer to Plant. After his Tumor, he sang on Sterns radio show and was dead on. His brother Benny Gramatico played with brother Rich and used to say Mick was always a DICK. I met Lou when he briefly stopped at my house in NJ to pick up the daughter of his new wife. Total Gentleman.
