Thank you. Wish I had seen this video sooner but it's never to late for education. I travel a lot of the western states to mine and have been told by BLM/Forest service to help educate the local Sheriff depts. about the benefits of dredging done right. A video like this will definitely help to educate and alleviate some of the concerns that those who don't understand the process have. Thank you. Nice color in your vids too, I'll be looking into one of those "back-savers" :)

This just looks like so much fun. I've always wanted to try prospecting but never had the opportunity or knew anyone who's done it before.

I would seem to think that using a smooth flexible hose would be better due to not having any ridges that might trap the gold from going into the sluice?

Stainless would be nice...since if having a wet suit on and 15 ft under water and working the Salmon River with quite a current...need all the weight one can hold underwater. AMAZING PRODUCT.

with that type of header box...be careful when you take off the suction host that goes to the header box...I always put a pan under it when I took mine off and I would flush water in the hose and box end...always got some gold from there...I like your video

Excellent idea!! I believe it wouldn't work well for me. I'm dredging a bench where I'm pumping water over to me from another creek. Kinda like high banking but in my case I'm dredging right on top of ancient bench on cleche so there's no place to put a small pool of water to use it. How much are they for a 3 inch? Thanks Brad

Unfortunately, aluminum would wear out very fast and dent easily. That is why the HF nozzles are made from heavy gauge steel with wear resistant stainless steel tips.

The mushroom buyers in Oregon pay $8 a pound. Horray, $36! I wouldn't mind eating them, though. Damn, I'd sure pay more than $36 bucks, for that cluster. You guys better of feasted.

I watched the video and I sure got a buzz from it. I have been watching your gold videos and this one caught my eye. I am about a month into gold prospecting but I have a long history with morels. My first find was one about as big as the biggest you found in the video. I found it while fishing and took it to my dad. He said "put your stuff in the car, I'm going to teach you about morels". a very tasty lesson at the end of the day. I haven't found a bigger one yet, but I'll try to forever.
