This skin is so sweet, I would definitely pick it up if I didn't need to save up on originium for the future. I just don't really use Penance that much, Mudrock is my main line tank and probably always will be, if I need two defenders I pick up Blemishine for the sinergy, Penance's shield mechanic has always felt clunky to me. But I digress, cute drunk judge is cute.

I like that she doesn't keep her swords sheathed with this skin, that's only ever cool with samurai swords, not European ones and certainly not with a longsword like that and one that takes way too long to unsheath from the back every time you wanna cut someone.

1:40:50 ish. I've been playing for 3 years. And in that time I've slowly been growing and evolving my understanding on the Story. It's easy to say Honka Impact has a great story and not look at it any deeper but... The more I look at it, the foundation of the story while very solid isn't anything exceptionally unique in itself. With how competently it's mixes and executes it's various tropes and elements it's stand out well above the average in gaming. But I've come to the conclusion that it's the characters that really take the Story of Honkai Impact 3rd from good to exceptional. It's the character writing and character interactions that MAKE Honkai as memorable and absorbing as it is. Consider how short the first 9 chapters are. Consider that Himeko is not a main character. And consider how most people feel at the end of Chapter 9. It takes skill to make people care like that. And it's not just Himeko ( that's rather obvious but it bear saying), each character gets to be someone people can connect with. And that is not a small feat. This is why I wasn't as worried about Part 2 as many others - if there is one thing I would confidently put money on it's the writer(s) of Honkai Impact creating fleshed out engaging characters. I am worried about the open nature of the world in Part 2 hindering the cohesion of the story - a very real risk when you look at either of the other big HoYo games or even at the three Part 1 arcs that used an open world design. But the characters? My ability to connect with them and grow attached? No. That was never a significant worry.

Sentience had access to ALL of Hua's memories when she woke up in her body. That's how she got confused about her identity initially. Thanks to those memories you might notice that Senti is not a fan of : Otto, Kevin, MEI and Eden. Oh and Hua's seven disciples from the School of Taixuan - she really doesn't like them almost to the same degree as Otto. Her gripes with Kevin, MEI and Eden are more circumstantial in nature.

Hot on The Trail is a game mode I'm personally ambivalent about. If you're a whale it will be a walk with minimal effort. If not, be ready for MANY, MANY retries. While the trial characters help fill any holes in your personal roster they're only just strong enough to fill a hole in a team, not carry it. You NEED the right buffs to even have a chance to score well - if you don't get them only maxed out teams can hope to do particularly well. They brought HoTT in to replace the Breach mode that swapped with Raids every two weeks and supposedly the general reception is positive. Personally I'm not a big fan. The sell was that it would promote skill over how much you've spent... it feels like it's failed at that. Sure F2P are likely to do better with the Trials letting them actually play the event but for small spenders like myself it does next to nothing and just highlights the gap between us and the people that can drop two grand on the game every patch.

The funny thing about Honkai Impact genderbending is that half the time it's not. Einstein and Tesla for example aren't genderbends, they're relatives to the original men that bore those names. There's a bunch of others that are the same way and there is probably a detailed list SOMEWHERE of who and how.

Based on some of your thumbnails you already had the re-run and pulled Lunar Vow Theresa but I thought I'd clarify in general - the only character that has never gotten a re-run is Asuka and that's cause of the terms of the Eva colab. Everyone else either gets re-runs or after they get too outdated for that get added to one of the shops. And then there are characters that get both - specifically some S-Ranks.

Man, I really like the armored one for the "in-suit voice" alone. The ambience synthesis one is pretty, but the idle animation is kinda boring; Mudrock's eyes in her Coral Coast skin scare me for some reason, but she's cute when she sleeps!

Sad how little difference the costume's animations make. Also not really a fan of the monster becoming white. Guess I'll wait for a future costume.

I only get the swimsuit so I can switch when summer come. And she got an apple.
