I go to Anime Expo in LA since 2016 and I alway look for booths with apparel or totes. There's so many artists that I wanted their characters to be in a t-shirt or at least in a tote bag. Like your friend who does the Jolibee Bee, I think that would be awesome on a t-shirt #justsaying

Naaaah the event coordinators did you guys wrong. The “category” setup idea did not sound good. Especially if you didn’t even fit with that category to begin with. What lol but also if you did, why would an event coordinator put people who sells similar items, right next to each other? Let alone in a designated section of an event hall. What I did for AX this year was I made it a point to at least visit the artist booths that I’m familiar with. And if I could, buy something from them. I’ve been watching studio and artist alley vlogs for a while now. Some of them, I watch quite regularly, so they feel familiar. I know sales is still the most important, but I’ve heard creators say it also makes them smile when people mention their videos. So these vlogs also make a difference!

You should try to do the Fahm Jam / Jeepney Jam events in San Jose at Garden at the Flea! I did way way better than I expected at the Jeepney Jam event that just happened!

Filipino apparel… I’m so there! Lol even at 626 Night Market, I seek out Filipino food. It makes my heart happy to see more and more Filipino stalls every year. I was actually born and raised in Manila so Filipino food is srs bsns to me hahaha. Favorites includes: dinuguan, sinigang na baka, pancit, cheese flavored “dirty ice cream” lol, ube ice cream, green mango shake, and TAPSILOG. 😅 I can be bribed with the occasional halo-halo, of course haha.

My favorites are pork sinigang, beef kaldareta, and sisig bangus! And of course Jollibee by default 😁

To answer your question, my favorite Filipino food is sisig with extra lime!

WELCOME TO ATL GUYS!!!<3 been waiting for this! I saw it drop and i was waiting for my day off to enjoy! All my years there i Never got to see the dolphin show. lol Every day I went they either cancelled or where working on the sealions area. Because the belugas and dolphins are sensitive to sounds because they use echo location they kept the show closed for a period of time. That last shark tank area is new or at least I don't remember it. If that's on the second floor they had a movie theater that no one used next to the amphibians. if that 3d movie theater isn't there any more then they probably put the shark tank there after 2019. Fun fact. All pandas are owned by the China government. All Pandas here are on loan. The zoos that have them had to go through strict qualifications to receive them and according to a usn articular from this year, 2024, these are currently the only pandas in the usa. I know San Fran was waiting on Pandas not sure if they have arrived yet. The pandas at ATL will be flown back this fall some time. I think ( and dont quote me on this) there is something like 2,000ish or so wild pandas left mostly because they compete with farmers for land. They only eat bamboo and a lot of bamboo forests get cleared for rice patties and other crops. Oh ive never seen a mara before. I LOVED the bush dogs!

However because of my table placement I passed your booth like several times everyday (and your table neighbor Scragster are friends of mine!) I was so busy with the crazy traffic at this con (first time doing a show this big and I'm from Michigan) I only got to look around for shopping like once and only for half an hour but I did end up picking up one of your business card cause your work really caught my eye. Glad I was able to follow up online, I've been loving all your videos!

Well, this is a nice travel vlog 😊 I really enjoyed your voiceover 👍 love the hauls and yes, I couldn't agree with you more on how well design the tourist merch are 😆 which is amazing considering the (well deserved) "looks so bad it's good" rep that tourist merchandise has. I don't think Jollibee tasting different in the Philippines could mean Chick fil a taste different in Georgia though, I think this logic only applies when the same fast-food chains are in different countries not just a different area of the same country 🧐🤓. Pandas aren't my favorite animal, but I think the appeal comes from the fact that they're like high maintenance house cats but in a non-domesticated animal form. Needs a lot of human attention to be fully healthy and happy, eats all day, sleeps all day, and they're seen as cute to a lot of people 😂.
