Security is temporary as is life. I feel my security is when I wake up and see myself in the mirror and try not to be judgemental but I'm happy and secure that I get to have another day. Ultimately I'm my own best friend and just being friendly with people more times than not feels like a bunch of friends everywhere and just about anywhere but always it's a temporary thing as nothing is truly permanent but getting to live another day which does last for a lifetime.

I also developed a chronic illness recently and it literally gave me depression and anxiety. I'm not normally an anxious person. When it was really bad, I cried every day. It prevented me from seeing my friends. I just wanted to die.

I'm sorry you had to go through more surgery and healing pains, it does sound harrowing for sure and I empathize as someone with relatives who have chronic conditions. I hope that, as autisticbucky said, your healing process is as smooth as can be. But also, lovely vlog---really captures that late summer feeling of afterglow and the possibilities inherent in the slow transition to fall. Congrats to your married friends as well!

I just randomly stumbled upon your video about an hour ago and I can definitely say I’m not complaining one bit 😂. I can relate to the writer’s block angle too since I also don’t get it as much now but I guess my imposter syndrome can make it difficult for not trying to rush the creative process. I wish I would go back to insta to promote my three books but I always felt miserable when I had it so I just deleted it and have been spreading the word about my books at my college or in discord servers. Honestly, I been having more luck with submitting pieces of writing to literary magazines/journals/anthologies and it’s still a strange feeling to see my work in physical collections of writing, chillsubs has helped me out with finding so many types of publications for my pieces of writing, so I would recommend you check that out if you haven’t already. One thing I have finally accepted is that ITS OK TO DO OTHER TYPES OF ART MEDIA besides poetry, I plan to write a script for a kid show idea, make attempts at writing a manga among other small projects but I am grateful I been somewhat successful with having pieces of poetry getting published. Video was nice, I’ll check out your books very soon, Cheers 🎉!
