Vietnam becoming a developed country. That’s funny.😆 They’re still stealing & eating their neighbours pets. Most of them still work for peanuts , just a few hundred dollars a month. Everything they build is garbage & falls apart soon after completion. Infrastructure is crap, they build a new highway & 2 weeks later it crumbles . Good luck

This is all Old news. Forget opening shitty companies to get a Visa in Vietscam. It will only bring trouble. Until Vietnam issue a Retirement Visa with no strings attached , similar to neighbouring Cambodia they won’t attract retirees. Phillipines…..you can stay 3 years on a tourist Visa. It’s simple . Thailand has retirement Visas & long stay Visas , Bali has retirement Visa , Malaysia has 10 year Visa. Etc . Plenty of options in SE Asia for long stay without all the trouble & red tape that Vietnam has. Vietnam property is falling in price,,thousands of empty apartments in coastal locations & Nobody staying long term to rent them. A disaster due to poor planning and vision.

Just rent when you are in Vietnam. Why would you want to buy “ a 50Yrs lease”? Because after 50 yrs most likely the government will not renewing the lease of the land your house built on.They will bulldozer the house or apartments and build new ones to make more $$$.

Vietnam doesn’t really want foreigners to stay in country longterm or they would gladly make it easier to do so just like Cambodia did long ago. Are you 55 in Cambodia? Go to any travel agency and pay $290 for a 12-month “ER retirement visa” with multiple entry option. No financial qualification or need to deposit any money into a Cambodian bank account. Go there and get an “ordinary visa” on arrival and 1-week later extend it to the “ER visa.”

Is it all hot and sold out? 😂 250k usd that rents for $700 per month? Return on investment yields less than 3% after expenses is terrible. Vietnam worst economy but still growing at 5%. This investment doesn’t make sense. Try selling for $150k usd is about right.

The property is sold after 2 weeks the clis is made. 😆 The property is sellable and rentable. Seller made 20% on top of the 3% yield. New owner may need to wait 3 years later to make the same profit but again the property is currently sellable and rentable which is good enough as an investment. Investors are easily lured by the price, 150k is surely cheap, not for this one, but for any other like that, the question is: is it rentable or sellable?

For the Thai retirement visa you only need to deposit 800 000 THB in an account for 2 months each year. For Cambodia just pay $300 per year.

You may consider Vietnam business visa with only 1500usd set up and maintaiing for 1 year. No need to put any fund in bank. Also once you have this business visa, you can deposit money in bank and get interest from 5-6%/year. Vietnam business visa is open to all nations, not limited to a specific nations like Thai retirement visa. That is for the cost comparision. Of course, if you prefer Thai like personal interest, there will be more factors to take in for considerations. 🤗 I like Thailand, too. Will travel there again soon. 👍🌟

I would like to ask you something, I have got my visa to Vietnam approved and its validation date ends in 19/6/2024 however the entrance date from 5/1/2014 to 3/2/2024 , I skipped this date already but as per my understanding I should be allowed entry till 19/6 however when I checked the Evisa now it states your Evisa is expired so I'm quite confused now on whether or not i will be allowed entry You response on this is highly appreciated
