Great tutorial for Adobe Premiere pro for creating a Dual Mono channel. Dual Mono vs Stereo, Dual Mono is the same Track just copied to both the Left and Right channels, delivering a single channel wavelength, it would be like wiring up someone's ears to only hear one side but have it on both. Stereo has 2 distinctive channel wavelengths which can give the wavelength depth in a 3D environment. Here's a hearing experiment of Dual Mono vs Stereo using hearing and ears Periods represent the audio at a very low volume Asterisks represent the audio at a medium volume zeros (0) represent the audio at a high volume First, Stereo: A vehicle passing you, Left Ear (....******000000) (your head) Right Ear (000000******....). Dual Mono: A vehicle passing you, Left Ear & Right Ear (....******000000) (your head) hears the same sound at the same time expecting the vehicle to finish passing. Dual Mono (Fake Stereo) is used by many to give the audio track 2 channels for Left and Right, but if that's the case, just having 1 track of standard center mono will play in both left and right speakers, UNLESS the audio was created in a program that only gives you the option of left or right but not center. Having only 1 channel of left sided mono would only play in the Left speaker and not share the right. It all depends on what software and how the audio is created. We only speak in mono, the microphone we talk into only captures a mono track that is centered. (Ever wonder why Surround Sound has the vocal audio in the center?) I seriously don't understand why users today think they need the most expensive software to do something so basic, Audacity is freeware that can do the same thing.

Photographers should stick with the Z50, having an evf will save your battery plus viewing in a bright environment easier. On the subject of flippy screens, the Z50 design is superior for photography. Its easier for composing than the side flippy screen.

Nikon released a firmware update to add eye tracking in video mode

Look at the scene in front of you. Then raise your camera and look at the scene through the viewfinder. If the scene looks the same size through the viewfinder as what you see without, then we can say that your lens/sensor combination produces an equivalent 50mm focal length. That is why 50mm lens are called 'normal' focal length lenses. It is the perfect focal length if you had to choose just one prime focus lens because it mimics what we see through our own eyes. Now, to achieve 50mm focal length with an APS-C camera, we need to use a 35mm lens. The 1.5 crop factor multiplies the 35mm by 1.5 times. (ok, to 52.5mm but close enough). If you are shooting with a full frame DSLR or a 35MM film camera, then a 50mm prime lens is what you need to achieve that 'normal' 50mm focal length focal length. Of course, you may prefer the small telephoto effect of shooting with a 50mm lens on an APS-C camera and that's fine too, but you can learn a lot and develop your skills hugely as a photographer by shooting 50mm focal length ..such as the reviewed 35mm f/1.8 lend here fitted to an APS-C camera. I hope that makes sense.

Hello, thanks for your video. I do exactly what you say, but in the end I only get a fixed image in adobe premiere, the first one of the sequence edited in AE. The background is removed, but whatever I do, the entire sequence stays at the first frame. What am I missing? Thanks!

thanks for the tips but since you are making a video about matching audio levels of different audio tracks it would've been better if you at last prepared 2 or 3 different tracks, instead of just using the same one and cutting it in many pieces (which is nothing like the real scenario you are talking about). Doesn't cost a thing to find 2 or 3 videos. But thanks anyway

Anyone that thinks they're going to get better images by cleaning the mirror and underside of the prism is going to be sadly disappointed. The ONLY thing the mirror does is allow you to see through the lens by using the optical viewfinder. Ever wondered why when you take a photo the viewfinder goes black? It's because the mirror lifts up out of the way of the sensor, so instead of the image going to your eye it goes to the sensor. The only things you can clean to improve image quality are the lens and the sensor.
