Hello, I am filling out a CSU application for college and it is asking me to input my Parents' adjusted gross income (AGI) for 2022 and my Parents' untaxed income and benefits for 2022. I know the AGI can be found on line 11 of the 1040 form on the 2022 Individual Tax Return, but I want to confirm where I can find the amount for the untaxed income and benefits? Is it line 2a where it says “Tax-exempt interest” or is it line 2b where it says “Taxable interest”? Line 2a is blank, but line 2b has an amount. Which one would I put? Thank you.

Hello Kindred. I really can't say for sure. It will vary by person. In know in line 4a, 5a and 6a there is total income listed and then in the associated 4b, 5b and 6b the taxable amount of that amount is listed so you would need to subtract the 2. That being said, there can be other untaxed income that is not included in a tax return. I am not an accountant so it is best if you speak with your parents about this and an accountant.

Hello Michael. I'm unsure where you are located or where you are thinking of attending or applying to in the US it is hard for me to say. There are some schools that will give merit funds to international students. Hoping that helps.

What is the difference between "need bind" and "need based", or is need based the same as need aware?
@signaturecollegecounseling7197
@signaturecollegecounseling7197 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Areum. "Need bind" means that a school doesn't consider the financial position of a student at all during the admissions process. Technically, they aren't even supposed to access that part of the student's file. "Need aware" (Not sure what you mean by "Need based" but possibly this is what you mean) is when a student's financial position is considered during the admissions process. This all being said, I am not sure I would trust that any school, especially during these times, will be "Need blind". I go under the assumption that a school is "Need aware" since we cannot prove this otherwise. Hoping that helps.

This is glorious, I have been researching "dhs emergency preparedness" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Konhloe Ranarah Equalizer - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my buddy got excellent success with it.

I really need help I'm asking for a letter of recommendation one month before it's due, should I ask them to write me one or no? I wrote a brag sheet to the best of my ability i believe

Hi Karina, You should ask the teacher who is writing your letter of recommendation if a month's lead time works for them (I would think it would but everyone is different and it would depend on their workload) and also ask what information they need in order for them to write you one (e.g., student resume, student autobiography...etc.) I hope this helps.

Someone asked me where I have posted my full length video's. So all of you are aware, I haven't posted my full length video's and will be posting short video's every Tuesday. I plan on having a webinar in the future though, which I will be sure to invite everyone through my social media outlets. I hope that helps and that you are finding my Tuesday Talks With Liz helpful. Thank you!
