Fantastic. I love Fusha Arabic. Otherwise I speak the Syrian dialect.

لو وقفت في أي شارع في أي مدينة عربية يا عقيل، فلن يقول أي أحد أنك غير عربي، العرب أنواع كثيرة، فقط اللسان والأخلاق هي التي تدل على عروبتك.

I hate to say this, but some Arabs (again, only some, not all) tend to look down upon South Asian people. You do look South Asian (and you are handsome, more handsome than most of them), but that's saddening that they simply don't want to spend their time with people they underestimate.

It’s a nice vid but I doubt those guys that didn’t want to speak wanted to be shown on KZfaq . For example the thumbnail, I doubt that man would like it his picture there but if permission was sought it’s fine I hope they have permission

Koran is Classical Arabic not standardized Arabic ,what the guy is speaking is the standardized one .Many words in Koran are obsolete and we do not use them. It is not recommended to study Arabic through Koran. It is waste of time.

Can you add subtitles in English
@AkeelAhamedInsights3 ай бұрын
جزاك الله خيرا كثيرا for your comment dear brother/sister. Adding subtitles is proving to be an extremely time consuming task. Even AI is not yet at the point where we can reliably use it to assist (at least the open source (free) ones). Thus, I would instead suggest rewatching the videos to ingest the new vocabulary. This is actually more beneficial than having the crutch of subtitles there to assist you as it makes your mind actively think about the meanings of words much more. I have found much value in this as well. I hope this answer is satisfactory. May Allah aid and make easy your journey to mastering this beautiful language. Wassalam Akeel

ٱلسلام عليكم جزاك ٱلله خيرا أخي It is interesting that turning on captions shows 99% accurate transliteration. I understood most of it such as you work 9-6, and during your freetime you play Monopoly with your cousins and basketball. You're also in front of the computer most of the times. I have also noticed that these three words are frequently used by you: بٱلنسبت، أحاول and يعني. In my national language, Swahili, we also frequently use يعني as many words are borrowed from Arabic, but I believe to maintain eloquence and fluency using يعني is discouraged. It is best to pause and think for the right word then speak. وفقك ٱلله وزادك علما نافعا

JazakAllahukhairan. Do I need to have any prerequisites before taking a lesson with Dr. Ahmed?
@AkeelAhamedInsights4 ай бұрын
Dr Ahmed is quite flexible and should be able to cater to any level of knowledge in Arabic, whether beginner or above. I would recommend scheduling a lesson with him first (you maybe able to get the initial at a discount, if not for free) and finding out if you like his style of teaching.
