notes for future reference: 1. Self-assess: do you have the knowledge? the experience? How long will it take you to be ready; a few months? half a year? a year (or more?) 2. Theory test: many "top ML engineer questions" tips are mostly about theoretical questions; prepare for some, but these will be the minority of questions 3. Assess and build on practical knowledge: ML algorithms you've used, ML pipelines you've built and tools/methods (data collection, model building, etc) you've used and are familiar with 4. Practical test: 90% of the questions you'll get. Why/how did you make the decisions you did in your projects? Be very familiar with the ML pipeline, and how the ones you made work 5. Prepare for company-specific questions: What types of problems will they solve using ML? What type of data will they be working with? The answers probably won't be available online, but get an idea of what they might ask about about these topics

I started working on math for ml specialization from imperial college London. The notes in videos are literally useless, I’m having to relearn using my college textbook to go back and answer the quiz questions. The quizzes on the other hand are really thought provoking, so at least I know what to look for in my textbook…

The most realistic path guide. Other creators will tell you seek X/y skills but the field is vast. .. And it’s imperative to acquire peculiar skills related to their specific roles

Dang I wish it was this easy I feel like I've done everything videos tell me to do or for the most part I've already done all of this on my own with no success job market sucks. I've been self studying and learning from school for 4 years now and know I could work a lot of ml roles but there just aren't any entry level positions even if I'm past entry level.

Hi, Im a 17-year-old student super interested in ML. I have 2 certifications in python, and just did a passion project using sklearn regression models, with a huge dataset from the European Space Agency. I have created a neural network using PyTorch, and did a computer vision project for school. I also completed the Microsoft Azure AI engineer course on the azure cloud platform, and I work with Microsoft Access Databases and SQL in school. The only problem I'm having is, I don't know where to put my next efforts into more. Do I start projects regarding SQL and Data pipelines?Or do I start building more ML models, and hyper tune them using kernels? Or do I start learning a new ML library? Also, I know that ML jobs require a lot of experience, so have I started too late?
