What version of FSD were all your tests using? Your experience does not sound anything like mine; I use FSD v12 every day, multiple times a day, it is amazing...

i hear this hum at night while im trying to fall asleep. i feel it more than i hear it, but it is audible. now that ive seen this video, it makes sence why i feel more anxious during and after i hear it. and knowing im not the only one that hears it makes me feel in a way better, but also more anxious. my thought on this is that it might be the core of the earth. or it might be the tectonic plates slightly shifting. either way, i have a feeling that it is natural in nature as i already understand the earth has its own frequencies. these frequencies are stronger in some areas and weaker in others. i wonder if the areas that have stronger or more frequencies have might be closer to volcanos and the like, whereas they might be lessened in thicker crusted areas like mountain ranges and such. I know im not crazy, the world is. we just live here

Apple decided for me that my HomePods use exclusively Dolby Atmos. I decided that I am completely happy with it. I don’t want a room filled with speakers so these do the job for me and for what they are I get a good sound field around me. I also do get overhead sound.

After using Symphony 3D and Stratus 3D by Exponential Audio I really thought about deleting all other Reverb Plug-ins from my System... 😂 Just kidding, but they are so f***ing clean that I immediately felt in love with them, even if the Preset Browser/Management could be improved, their sound quality is top-notch.

the human brain has somewhere in the order of 100 trillion to 1000 trillion synaptic connections. Keep in mind these are multi-modal, cross linked connections unlike an LLM or other AI systems where the parameters are composed of static weights in a neural network. GPT 4 uses approx. 175 billion parameters. There is just no comparison - not even remotely close. Yes, humans are flawed and definitely make mistakes. More often than not it's because of brain impairment; alcohol, pharmaceuticals, distractions, sleep, etc. That's why I totally agree with Benn in terms of using AI for added safety. But FSD - I really don't think so. It's a pure fantasy. Fanboys will continue to be amazed at just how well their car navigates the road until they get slammed by a train.

Honestly, I think the whole reason I bought a lifetime FL studio license over any other DAW was thanks to spending a lot of time with a cracked copy (i was a broke teenager). I wouldnt judge someone for wanting to demo a product, but good developers deserve to get paid.

This shit doesn't work on me, because no matter how strong the soundwaves are, it will never interrupt my thoughts. If I see someone using this device, I won't have them arrested, but they will be dealt with.

If I want a particularly "special" from listening to music, I'll go listen to it live somewhere, like a classic concert or a museum with an audio exhibit. Same with other entertainment, no point getting a massive 8k TV or over the top home cinema installation if it only makes a moderate difference for the few movies that actually make use of it, and the rare moments I'd seek it out. Much more economical to go to a good cinema for that.

I was so excited to get Dolby Atmos and AirPods Pro when they all came out. I signed up for Apple Music and was excited to listen to music mixing Dolby Atmos. It sucked. I had two playlists to compare stereo mixes that I owned and Dolby Mixes from Apple. EVERYTHING sounded better in Stereo (or mono).

My brother got really into 432Hz for a while as a teenager and he bought a program that would convert his mp3 library to that tuning. He then explained to me how 432Hz made the kick drum resonate a lot more with him. And I, being a drummer, told him that that's odd since a kick drum isn't tuned to 440Hz to begin with. The tricks our minds can play on us when we become convinced

What if its a sound made by the thinning of energy between worlds . I've always thought that the bombs , super sonic jets and trains that can break the sound barrier and nasa rockets have worn down the energy barriers and blasted open doorways to other dimensions and that humming sound could be made by the compromised and mixing energies of dimensions.

i design, sell, install, audio video systems for the home market and have done so for 28 yrs. Stillnot sure where to get Atmos music, movies and tv shows are easier and not always wht you expect. I hope it gets better. But you would be better served with actual speakers above and separated appropiately from the "bed" layer speakers, which is usually far more expensive. I do not feel like these soundbars give you this at all. But, again, the problem i find is that often times, even new shows do not have or provide an ATMOS mix, at all! New shows, movies etc. This is quite upsetting and annoying.

Sound and light can move and travel forever, just beyond the human ability to observe it. I believe some folks might just be able to pick up on the combined cacophany of this planet's inhabitants and processes. Sometimes, I get migraines and when I described it to my mom, that is how she explained it to me. I was just hearing everything, all at once. Not sure if such a thing could truly be researched, but it's a thought.

A lot of these issues could be avoided by spotify (and other companies!) avoiding this kind of "shoot first, ask questions later" policy. Sure, freeze royalties/payouts when fraud is suspected, but give the artist some time to at least respond before closing down accounts or taking down music. There is absolutely no reasonable grounds for that other than "our rules say it's so", they're in full control of drafting their own rules. Then again, digital distribution exists for the same reason, so I won't hold my breath. (I.e. they exist because streaming platforms arbitrarily decides they need to exist)
