Shane, Great workout. I am 57 years old and I feel younger than I felt at 40. Thank you for reviving me and my workouts.

I don't have (or care about a) Tesla, but I am very intrigued the idea of charging ANYTHING with a rower, even my phone. I have Savannah cats that run on a big wheel, and already thought it would be fun to hook something up to their wheel, but how? Now THAT is the question. Please, how do we do it, just for fun. I don't care about how economical it is, just the entertainment value would be great.

WOW. Ok. I'm a little scared to try a 100 minute work out .. but I have been doing pretty awesome on the advanced 30 minutes and barely breaking a sweat. Though I haven't lost any belly fat yet ... and I eat organic plant based too. I have noticed huge improvements in my health overall.. I nearly never get sick, and my calves and chest and arms are getting big. I was always super slim twiggy in my youth so to see myself with pumped up strong chest and arms is pretty amazing. I feel pretty damn good for 56, super strong libido, plenty of energy. I owe a lot of this to Dark Horse .. Thanks Shane. I will def. try this advanced work out and report how I'm doing. The great thing I look forward to rowing and my time with Dark Horse daily.

Hey boss you probably won't see this but I need some help. I am. Getting into rolling to go a little easier on my feet. Because I. Have a cracked heel that never healed properly. And I'm getting back into the swing of my full-time. Job of while I'm firefighting, after being on hiatus couple of years. DoIng dad life My work provides a workout room force, but the equipment is not the best. Especially when it comes to the rowing machine which is Combination machine it a conversion 2 9003 Magnetic riwer/bike. I've Watched some of your beginner videos and the adjustments you're talking about making to the machine are just not possible with this one and I think my technique is suffering. So any advice on how to do better technique and do it the correct way and maximize this machine that I do have access to would help greatly. Cause if I can't get ready to do field work.I'm headed for a desk and I can't stand that. And just a side note.I don't have enough money to either Ford gym membership or by my own machines. So this is what I got

Hello: I am into my second month of rowing and I feel fine! I would really would like to do a 30 day challenge all August; is there a a training in the app I can use? I started zone training a couple of months ago, I found the easiest way has been to walk on a treadmill with a heart rate strap that the treadmill can read. I can adjust the speed and incline to keep from going over the max for zone two. I’m currently at a brisk walking speed of 3.7mph for an hour two or three times a week. It fits in well with my training schedule as I do judo which is exhausting and full on cardio for two hours a week and weights every day for 1/2 an hour

im new here so i dont know if the he ever acknowledges the comments here and replies to viewers questions. my question is, if you absolutely want to have ads in your videos could they at least be at the beginning or end so the workout isnt interrupted so much for us with regular yt? every ad is over a minute long and they cant be skipped. it messes up with the rhythm and concentration to say the least. please? im grateful if you reply

As a female 10k a session rower I find a cushion in top three must brings. I found rare blisters on hands nothing like sores on the cheeks. I’ve also experimented with my knickers and gym short combinations to minimise chaffing. Must have: Water, sweat towel and pillow. Mine is cheap IKEA cushion sold as extra for dining chairs or stools, not more than 2 cm thick and WASHABLE!

Amazing video. I own several rowers and the most important aspect: one does not fit everyone. For home use I prefer my vertical mounted water tank rower from FDF for the amazing water feeling, but also love the German Augletics Eight for its most advanced concept and the AI-based integrated trainer that comes without any subscription.

Thanks Shane :). That was my first work out on a rowing machine. I enjoyed it, and my cat is relatively unconcerned with this development. Feeling positive about rowing going forward :)

Very good video. Two things, probably mistakes. 1: the c model has standard PM 2 monitor or advanced PM 2+ monitor. Not PM 3 monitor . 2: the photo at 7:54 has a technogym machine not a concept 2 machine

Ok. Rookie question. I don't own a Concept 2 (wish i did, tho). I have one of those Merach rowers that i actually kinda like (I got it for free from a friend). Now, I have access to and use a Concept 2 at my gym, though I do more workouts at home. This one does only miles and uses levels 1-5, I think. Any advice on how program it to match the intensity of the Concept2 or other like rower?

This was my first guided rowing workout ever and it was incredible. I'm hooked! It wasn't until "crossing the finish line" with 2 minutes left on my monitor that I realized I was watching at 1.1x speed (default setting for me, oops). I was wondering why my SR was always ~2 higher than what you set if I followed your on-screen motion. Looking forward to our next "race" together, but at 1x speed. 😂

I don't count calories. I row 10,000 meters with the resistance #5, I know it burns calories with that long rowing.

So I recently fell into this KZfaq rabbit hole. A prime day deal featured a rowing machine. I haven't bought, but I started to research rowing as an exercise and rowing machines. Im 55 and have been doing strength training and running for many years. Fitness level is OK for guy my age, but could be better. Rowing seems like it would be a great addition to my regimen, plus my hope is to get my wife involved in this exercise, as she currently does not exercise at all and never has. She does have mobility issues or major health issues now, but I'm very concerned for her long term and mobility as we age together. She also doesn't take kindly to my suggestions, but didn't slam the door on the possibly of trying out rowing. Any thoughts / advice for a guy in my situation?

My last four were really quick, last one the fastest. 1.55 on 500m split. Not bad for a 78 yr old, but there’s more there! Love your vids., inspired by them and by a Henley-winning and GB squad granddaughter!
