I got the today's special and a Brother Skitch embroidery machine to try. Not sure if I'm keeping it because i have embroidery machines, but this one has a free arm. I'm trying it out and doing videos for my small channel to help me decide and help others learn about it. I'm not sure if im keeping the water color kit, too. I like DP, but after i got it, i questioned whether i needed it. I have so much already and am starting to give stuff away. I seem to only use most stamp sets once. I may sell some.

I definitely will keep my finger crossed that it continues to work for me. I love how small it is however love the wide mouth for most of spellbinder dies.

Love my machine and even my 5 y/o granddaughter was able to use it with some help. Once I conditioned it by , 1. Taking a paper towel and wiping both rollers while cranking machine, 2. I started with passing the embossing sandwich through a couple times with the folder no paper, 3. Passing the cutting sandwich without die, lastly I passed embossing folder again this time with paper,, then cutting die with paper placing the die in the center so that the machine grabbed the sandwich then putting pressure on top the machine to keep it down while cracking the handle. Once broken in you will love this machine! Trust me. I was crafting with this machine while watching TV with hubby. Usually I am in my craft room . Hubby like it when we are together in the living room.

This is great other people have done this but they put black ink on white ca rd stock . This is very time and ink saving . Love it ❤❤❤😊😊😊

That is exactly the problem with my lilac scout! I even sent them a video! They were less than supportive with a canned message as well. You really must be sort of forceful with them! The machine literally wrapped the dies! I did get the pink scout it seems to work! I just think the lilac scout is defective…….Thanks as as always for your videos ❤

Hi Mary, I ordered my grip mats several days before craft day and I have been using it a lot. I had a confirmation from HSN saying an order was complete and then get an email the next day and saying it was sold out and I never got it. I don’t knew what is going on. Thanks for sharing! ❤

Thanks for showing and explaining the components. Like you, I thought the ribbon colors were light, but I noticed some of the cardstock was light too. Kind of odd that there were no light colored water-colored papers. I picked this one up on HSN clearance.I don't get it on auto ship. I only have a few boxes. I just subscribed to your channel.

Hi Mary! I didn't get this originally because there were no refills of the honeycomb, but I bought on a deal. Beth showed it where the recipient could stick it down. It's hard to know if it would take away from the card for the recipient because I am a crafter and would know what to do. It might seem like a fun thing for them to do. The new Scout is so pretty, but I already have too machine cutting machines.

Hi Mary, I never saw this kit, I think it’s adorable. My granddaughters would love it. I would glue all the heart down and mail it in a box. I save the small boxes from Anna Griffin and Diamond Press, just for these kind of projects. You can also put the honeycomb inside the card and it would be flatter for mailing. Yes, I have purchased things that I wonder why did I get this. Thanks for sharing! ❤

Yes! Absolutely! Sometimes in your mind you think it is one way and it turns out to be totally different than you thought! I almost bought this kit as well 😊 Very cute but I agree that’s a card you would most likely hand deliver ❤

Thanks for demonstrating that the machine has to be “primed” in order to start working properly! I do not like the fact that we have to break in a new machine by forcing the plates through it. This is a procedure we have always been warned not to do when using a die cutting machine. I was convinced my machine was defective when I took it out of the box and couldn’t get it to cut the included dies.

That technique is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. Will definitely give this a try.

I do love that you're doing color cube challenges - just bought mine and can't wait to start using them. I would like to see some videos on distress crayons (if you have them), pastes, shimmer powders / perfect pearls, mixed media, and resist techniques (alcohol ink, oxides, dye ink, etc).
