Question, what happened to the 37' Coupes? Were they de-registered? I am not seeing them in the 2022 videos. I really like the 37' coupes, because they were the ones that used to compete in the Argentinian Turismo Carretera (TC), until more modern models started to appear like the Ika Renault Torino, the Chevytu, and the Ford Falcon to mention some modern compacts of that time ... . Greetings from Argentina

I highly doubt this guy is from the south that’s carrying the camera. He makes a comment saying “ there the customer if that’s what they want” but in a rude way. The guy that’s giving the tour. He’s from the south how he answered that question wasn’t rude or condescending in anyway. That way of answering translation to Yankees. He was saying “whatever floats there boat” then this guy responds with there the customer if that’s what they want as if he’s offended for them. It’s interesting how people don’t understand the non verbal tone. When he said idkahhh. That’s just saying in the south whatever floats your boat. And the guy interviewing sounded like he took offense to it. The guying giving the tour is quiet cause he is t understanding what pissed the guy off. This is part of today’s problem people just don’t understand tone growls. Humpywheeler would always educate Yankees on how to interpret a southern person because they would get it wrong all the time
@Bigmilmotorsports
@Bigmilmotorsports 3 жыл бұрын
Wow, you read waaay too much into that..... I'm not sure if Iowa makes me a Yankee or not? But what you interpreted as rude was interpreted by the tour guide as "yep, we don't know why they want it but if that's what they want than we will make it for them"! Which is exactly how I meant it....... You failed to understand the context around which it was spoken. But hey, thanks for the random not so nice comment!

How safe are the legends compared to other motorsports? Example dirt modified or late model? asphalt street stock or late model? Seems to me the cars being much smaller have less of a crush zone.
@Bigmilmotorsports
@Bigmilmotorsports 4 жыл бұрын
They are purpose built and all chassis' are built to one standard. I don't know if that makes them more safe but it reduces shoddy custom frames. They may be smaller but they also go a bit slower than some other racecars and are limited to less than a half mile tracks to keep speeds down. Having raced them I would personally say that crush zone is rarely a cause for injury in most circle track motorsports. It is predominantly seat, belts, helmet and hans type personal safety that makes the real difference. I have hit the wall at 80mph, rolled it on asphalt and dirt and been hit full speed by another car while stopped on track. But I only used the best personal safety equipment. I would be confident putting my child in a properly maintained legends car with the right safety gear..

@bigmills What kind of a car do u race with I didn’t even know about legend cars til now and idk hw much it is or what’s the best car to race with
@Bigmilmotorsports
@Bigmilmotorsports 4 жыл бұрын
I don't race anything now but only raced Legends previously. Prices range from $5k to $20k with new ones from the factory at ~$15k. There really isn't a "better" one as they all come out of the same chassis shop, but some like coupes or sedans more. You can check out www.uslegendcars.com/ for more info or even better check out Just Legends facebook or some of the other Legends Car facebook groups for more info.

This was really fun to watch, good job Dissecting it, your car had a lot of rotation thru the center (better than those in front of you) however the sacrifice was wheel spin of crucial exits, this track was larger than another I watched & gearing seemed spot on, I try cross threading when it comes to wheel spin as to not lose corner rotation, my suggestion (which means nothing BTW) would be to soften the left rear a skotch, keep the corner rotation & lessen the wheel spin on exit, or stiffen the right front but likely lose a little cut, a stiffer setup would probably allow for 2nd groove passing, tho I wouldn’t tempt it with that access road break away exiting turn 2 Nice move up tho, I thought you had better than 16th, shucks, it was chaos tho
