I'd love to know how it worked. Were the fins long enough to get a good crimp?

I’m looking to do the same. Was the roller steel? Also how did you manipulate the guard bar so the steel attachments fit thru it?

Good Sir!!!! Well done!!!! Please make a quick update video. Would love to see how your crimper did. I am planning to make one out of my old water heater. My food plot is a honey hole so... no need for big equipment when I broadcast seed. Hope you are doing well. 🇺🇸🦌

So how did it work? Did any of the rye stand back up?

It terminated the rye well, very little stood back up. However, I've been pretty unsuccessful with establishing seed with the broadcast and crimp method in my Sandy soil.

@@weekendwarriorshabitatandh7153 You may have to apply lime and fertilizer to get it started. I'd also recommend using a release seed for summer and again in the fall. That should build your nutrients up quickly. In 3 years, you shouldn't need any fertilizer or Lime. Maye want to spray a time or two as well until weed co tool is in order.
