I have noticed that some of these commercial type videos are very misleading.

Do not go here. Not worth your money. Very shady management. The rooms shown here is not what you are getting. My husband and I are Diamond club level. Every time we had an issue we got down graded. The place needs major repairs it is falling apart. (June 2024) food was good, liqueur was watered down, entertainment was ok, for an all inclusive they sure try to sell you what they call extras every 10 feet they try to sell you something. It gets on your nerves. Oh if you need a manager good luck. They hide they don’t help. Save your money don’t go to this place. It’s in the middle of a swamp land. It will cost you $100 plus just to get a taxi to go to town. If it rains good luck getting out.

The place is the PITS!!! I had an eight day stay booked! I stayed one night!!! The rooms smelled like mildew, raw sewage and I saw two spiders!! One medium sized and one was huge!!! 30 minutes after leaving the restaurant a lady I met there said raccoons came out I went on the Guanacaste side to Papagayo’s!!

No video or picture can show what your eyes get to see there, this hotel is insane and made me so happy, it was incredible!

I just returned and must say, it was the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever experienced. Stunning!! The preferred room actually comes with a butler! Dreams also hosts anywhere from 3 - 5 weddings a DAY! The scenery is spectacular!! Food is so abundant, it borders on the excessive. I will say that a few people in our party of 70 people ( including myself) got sick with flu like symptoms late in the vacation or upon the return home. We have no idea what the culprit could be. Also, we found that housekeeping staff didn’t communicate well, and they don’t seem keep track of what rooms are cleaned vs those that haven’t been cleaned. Also, bring shower shoes. The shower is a real safety hazard and no matter what you do, the floor stays wet. Overall, the experience was stellar. We also booked transfers from the airport from Amstar and they were terrific. I would suggest tipping staff up front and unless you use specific lotion, shampoo, etc., leave it home to save space in your suitcase. Preferred rooms have wonderful high quality toiletries available.

Love the review, subbed as well. Might I suggest a better camera though? The DJI Pocket 3 is small and has a 1" sensor and its own mechanical stabilization, perfect for review videos, isnide and outside. It can also shoot in 4k/60. Just a thought!

Jamaican holiday turbulence

We went in December of 22 and had a blast. On the way out, Paradise Pass (affiliated with the Resort) offered us a 50% discount on our next vacation deal that included a $1,000 credit for hotel activities. We confirmed in writing that golf was included in the credits. We booked it and went down again in march of 2023. When we checked in at the front desk we confirmed that the thousand dollar credit was there for resort activities, including Golf. We went to the golf course and they had no record of it but they said they were sure the hotel would apply the credit at check out. So we put the Golf to our hotel room and we played every day that week for five days. At the end of the week when we went to check out, the hotel credit was completely gone and they charged us an extra $1500 for golf that week. No matter who we tried to discuss this with we cannot get an apology or credit. if you try and call the hotel, you cannot get anybody their from a management standpoint to answer the phone. Nobody ever responded to the customer service complaints on the website contact page. the only phone call we ever received was from Paradise Pass offering us another discount if we booked another vacation. Very very disappointed with Hard Rock and will never, go to another property! 😢

I can’t wait till august

We just returned from this resort on May 31, 2024. I have never been so disappointed in a resort. Air conditioning is a huge problem. We insisted on moving to a new room, when our air conditioning wouldn’t go under 80 degrees. There is no air conditioning in common areas, including hallways and elevators. The elevator felt like sweat lodges. If you’re into that, no charge! The a la carte restaurants were good, but the buffet was nothing special. When the best thing at the buffet is ice cream, there’s a problem. The employees were extremely kind, though, and the grounds and pool are beautiful. I will not stay at another Iberostar, which is unfortunate, because we have enjoyed some of their other properties.

Only LTT fans know this hotel.

I've been at that exact resort. I stayed in the villas and that was to this day my most memorable vacation I've ever been to. Just be careful of the hut employees to the far right of the beach. I wanted to go scuba diving and he "called" for a boat and our host comes running over screaming "you don't use off resort tours!!! You will never be seen again"

This is an honest and well balanced review of this resort. If you're looking for a high end resort, this isn't it. But, it's good for family travel on a budget!
