Robbo is seriously toy level. This shit is funny as fuck. He's shit. That shit looks like trash. Banksy won from the first piece. It's laughable to watch a boomer toy think he's a king and get rolled by an actual artist and then cry like a little baby bitch on TV.

The reason Robbo is not treated like Banksy is the lack of originality in Robbo's art. Banksy does original art that says something. Robbo just puts his name on a wall in the same styles everyone else does. You don't deserve to have your art protected when you didn't do anything original in the first place. His work isn't even that good. ROFL. He's toy level skill.

We don't have too much problem with people getting arrested for street art in Canada because we have certain walls and city kiosks reserved especially for street artists where it's legal for them to put their art.

Yes,but by doing that Banksy brought more media attention and therefore more financial value to Robbo's art.

If you look carefully you'll see by the rolls of paper banksys decorator is actually pasteing the piece up! Not covering it up! But interfering with an iconic piece is no excuse!!

I genuinely believe this was all planned. Banksy and Robbo orchestrated this. The Dragon Bar story a decoy. Banksy ‘dogged’ Robbo in order to spark this ‘beef’. Banksy wouldn’t willingly f*ck with London’s oldest piece for no reason. Low and behold this ‘war’ and Robbo is suddenly a household name with his own exhibition. Basically Banksy helping Robbo make a few quid from some fake beef

I support any form of art that is permission based. It floors me how street or graffiti artists get off on putting their work on someone else's property without their permission. Pure male ego. The art might be good and creative but it's still invasive.

"Of all the walls in London." Way I see that wall. That is something special. A place where both artists could express themselves in a for/against/neither statements. When on Earth will the Tate or MOMA just start sending CEX trains across the Americas with a portable gallery on the sides? Beats staring at iron gates for 20 minutes waiting for them trains to pass RIP King Robbo.

I'm no expert, but it seems like Banksy turned an almost completely obliterated work by Robbo into a new piece of art. He left almost all of what remained of the original Robbo. It was an homage, more than a diss. Then all the Robbo disses of Banksy's were still art, Robbo didn't just paint over the Banksy pieces, he updated them in an artistic way. Graffiti isn't supposed to last forever. It's the low end taggers who quickly put boring tags over the original 1985 Robbo, many of the Banky's, and countless graffiti murals in the US who were disrespectful. That has been the difference between graffiti artists and many taggers since the 1980's. Robbo, Flek and Banksy are putting up art, taggers are just trying to get recognition putting their name up all over the place, which isn't inherently bad, unless they obliterate previously existing art.

“How dare you paint over, what everyone else was already painting over” The rule that was talked about, says to not use others work, but this is an entire 46 minutes, of using someone else’s work, while essentially complaining about how what has already happened, happening again.

I half-hearted believe Banks constructed this whole thing. Just to pay his artist, just to spread the love. Just to wind the bloke up. But 43:59, rewatched yet another time just caught this. WBOwBOND DERTRAIN Scrambled letters to read "We bomb under the train in broken English". I believe that Graffiti is a wonderful expression when urban dynamics persist with standards of what is off-limits. I was an art form that allowed/allows lots of young artist to create art on the free canvases of their grey canvases. But its not a sustainable art form. Hence the you can't paint over my graffiti from 20 years ago, well shucks now you've done and pissed off an old man that used to play grips with paint spray. Eventually all graffiti has to be painted over to create more graffiti. So it's not art, it's a wall-paper that keeps us from escaping this reality of displeasure that society wants people to focus upon constantly. Street art isn't art, but it's a huge standard, technical/difficult requiring more planning than and idea and buying paint. And it's effect is not the artists work but the message the work presents which is "look how cool this is, NOW YOU GO DO IT TOO". Banksy is outragg mega because his art message is make are not noise. Also I'm honestly not a huge Banks pusher, but he has propelled a wild (couple-of) ideas into modern culture and that is impressive. He is either really brilliant or really lucky.
