I can't thank you more for this video, I was 15 as an overseas student arrived on 31st of Aug 1990 and stayed in Epsom, 10yrs later I left with regrets, I miss home Auckland so much, this video clips has brought me back some great memory.

I was in the Canal Zone from 69 to 82. And it was much better back than when the USA was running the Canal and Railroad. Used to have a free pass to ride the train. Yahoo !!

In 1997, Canadian Pacific sold the western end of Bensenville Yard and the Elgin to Savanna, Illinois mainline to the I&M Rail Link after encountering profitability issues. By 2001, the I&M Rail Link would encounter profitability issues as well, according to its parent company, Washington. Thus, the IMRL was sold to Cedar American Rail Holdings (the parent company of the Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern) which rechristened the I&M Rail Link to the Iowa, Chicago & Eastern Railroad (IC&E). The IC&E was worthy of profit and was a smash hit for Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The line west of Bensenville reverted to Canadian Pacific in 2008 when it acquired the DM&E and IC&E.

Back then Chinatown/international District actually had Asians now go there and there’s nothing but black homeless crackheads smoking fentanyl most Asians don’t even go to Chinatown because of that I know I was there recently and I could say that a majority of black people made Seattle very dangerous and unlivable in the 90s it was predominantly white Asian and gypsy black people weren’t that visible in Seattle in the 90s but after the late 2000s they pretty much shit all over Seattle

Back then, Asians could walk around the international district without being attacked by some black guy high on fentanyl but in 2020 most Asians don’t even go in Chinatown because there’s a lot of black psychopaths there now

This was Seattle before 2020 when it was mostly white people and Asians and it was peaceful the 13% mostly kept themselves in the central district. Now they’re all over downtown attacking people smoking fentanyl and police can’t do nothing because they’re a protected class
