I've been subbed to Moises for a year now and it is a fantastic tool! I plan on upgrading to hifi to use the tracks as backing tracks live.

why can't you see all tracks on a mixer board format and be able to have complete control over all tracks that have been separated, so I can re-mix anything on all the recorded tracks + add new tracks etc. Is that possible or maybe in the future?:
@donaldbrawders23242 күн бұрын
I want to re-do certain tracks and add effects on them and add new tracks like background vocals or guitar etc. and re-mix all tracks like on a consol and add bass and treble, midrange etc.?
@Celticsaint7774 күн бұрын
Did you have the plate voltage buttons engaged? Do you find that turning the impedance knob opens up the tone more than if it’s turned down?
Once the tracks are seperated, can you re-record a track and/or add another track?

1. You mentioned that, you apply reverb only in mono tracks. In 12:00 you have also applied reverb on sterio tracks. 2. For the send tracks why did not you turn off post fader
@Homestudiosimplifed13 күн бұрын
I believe I was talking about the “Mixing in Mono” portion of a mix in regards to reverbs. As for the sends, I never use pre fader. Just personal preference. I feel I get a better blend that way.

@@Homestudiosimplifed Thanks for your reply. The stems I use in mixing sessions are stereo not mono, should I convert them to mono ? Also i want to ask, As you have added the FX such as reverb, delay etc on separate stereo busses and send signal to them. Let's consider We have to automate different reverb/delay parameter ( such as mix, size, time etc ) for different tracks. Is there any way to do it? And lastly how to use an aux track. I love what I am looking at here but I HATE subscriptions!! I want to OWN the app. Just give me a price for the premium app and forget the monthly or annual payments. Websites disappear. If I own the app, it will only disappear if I delete it and haven't backed it up. NO SUBSCRIPTIONS! SUBSCRIPTIONS SUCK!!! So, you just lost me. Permanently.
@Homestudiosimplifed13 күн бұрын
I understand completely. I came from the era of “buy it and own it” as well, this is why it is disheartening when all of the major companies follow suit to do things this way.
@davidrussell682613 күн бұрын
@@Homestudiosimplifed well, someone needs to reverse the trend. It's truly dishonest. People stop using a product but the bank withdrawals continue, perhaps even after the company has disappeared from the i-net. There have been many products I probably would have purchased if not for the subscriptive form. I absolutely NEVER buy them. In my opinion, subscriptions for most of these types of products should be illegal. Moises looks like a great product. I would love to own it, but I never will in subscription form. Period! Thank you for your response.
@LyrixNChill3 күн бұрын
I only use the app intermittently, so a subscription works for me. I only pay for the time I am using it instead of hundreds of dollars for premium software (like I did for Ableton). And whenever I come back after a few months, they've added more latest and greatest features that I have at my disposal for less than the cost of one restaurant dinner. I guess to each their own.

i like master B more. It sounds a bit deeper. But for me it's a bit hard to spot the differences if we are not listening very carefully. It's like you said, in the end the master is like the final touches of art, you put your taste and preferences. Bandlab looks like a great tool if you want a quick and safe master

I have so many old songs that my band from the late 90’s early 2000’s recorded. Some mastered down to CD, some on old cassettes from 4 tracks, & some have 50 + tracks from our old DAW system. My bassist & drummer passed away much too young & we were never able to get very good recordings of several songs. Can Moises be used to separate the tracks & transfer to another app to re-record guitar tracks etc? I mostly want to save the original bass & drum tracks & build from them since they can never be re-recorded. Thanks for any help. I’m just now getting back into playing & am wanting to focus on remastering all of our old tracks but don’t know where to begin.

I wish honestly that they would let you use more than just two sets of speakers with this. I currently use my own custom measurements on two monitors, then using a set of towers to offset the lack of bass that the monitors produce. The end result is some of the best audio that I (or anyone who has walked into this room) have heard. I use EQ APO to setup the eq to allow each speaker to offset the others weakest points. If they designed this in a way that you could use multiple speakers at once I would be 100% on board with it.

Is there any way to use Ripple Edit and automatically get rid of all the gaps between clips on my podcast track that I get after I use the Remove Silence function?
@maks_zbogar25 күн бұрын
In Logic, I was able to select all the clips and use the Shuffle Left function to move all the clips next to each other after I removed the silence.
@Homestudiosimplifed25 күн бұрын
With the Ripple Edit on, just delete the section you don’t want and it will automatically remove the silence by moving the audio over.
@maks_zbogar25 күн бұрын
@Homestudiosimplified Thanks for the reply. I delete all silences with a function called Remove Silence, not manually. In this scenario, Ripple Edit has no effect even if it is turned on. It leaves all the clips with gaps between each clip. I thought Cakewalk had a function like Logic, Shuffle Left. I can simply select all the clips with gaps that the Remove Silence function created and select the Shuffle Left function, which automatically puts every clip next to each other. We intend to move our production to a Windows environment, but as I can see, no Windows DAW has this simple and extremely useful function.
