It seems pretty clear there are 3 ways you can dragon bond, the first is bond-pairing by placing an egg into a baby's cradle to hatch and grow up with the baby. The 2nd way is for you to actually "claim" the dragon (if it lets you) and the 3rd way is the dragon chooses YOU to bond-pair with. We've seen all of these ways demonstrated on screen. All of these ways however require a certain percentage of Valaryian blood (not Targaryen)

I really loved the scene with Vermithor because the camera work was very reminiscent of Jurassic Park's T-Rex. It really brought me into the scene with the chaos and people running everywhere and the camera following Hugh. I loved it.

7:14 - just a small clarfication on b*stards. Jace's intial plan was not to find high born b*stards but highborn or noble lords or knights that had some targaryen or valerian ancestry in their famiy tree, such as ser steffon darklyn. The problem with this being that Steffons' Targaryen blood was too diluted for the dragons to accept him. Hugh, Adam and Ulf are actually high born bastards, due to having at least 1 Targaryen or Valerian lord / princess etc . Unlike Ser Stefan , they all had direct Targaryen /Valerian parentage , meaning the dragons would more likely accept them. For them to be low born bastards, both parents would need to be small-folk. Its also possible, unlike low-born b*stards, Hugh, Adam and Ulf could also be possibly legitmized as the heirs to their house , similar to what we saw with Gendry and Ramsay in Game of Thrones. Of course even high-born or noble b*stards are still looked down upon by highborns of noble birth.

Also so many people are annoyed at Jace. But I think he is justified in his feelings. 2 truths are true here. Rhynera absolutely had no choice she needs dragon riders BUT she has absolutely screwed Jace with the succession. If she become queen, the minute she dies there will be another war over the throne as people will overlook Jace. The only thing that validated him as a Targaryan heir was his ability to ride a dragon. Rhynera has now proved to the world that as long as you have enough Targaryan in you you can claim a dragon. This is the 2nd thing that has dimmed the mystic and God like view of the Targaryan. The first being Melys' head being carted around King's Landing

I felt like this was a great episide 7 of a 10 episode season. However, having it as the 2nd to last episide of the season felt a bit strange, due to it being a lot more set up verses the traditonal big payoff like Blackwater or Watchers on the Wall. I am hoping for a big action scene / fight for the finale. However, I get the feeling this could delayed until season 3, which would be a disappointment due to the amount of buildup. Could this be due to budgets cuts orded higher up at Warner Bros?

The way some folks rate these episodes I wonder if we’re even watching the same episodes 😂 There really hasn’t been any “best episode” of the season yet. Maybe they say that to get in good with Max so they can keep getting those early screenings.

I don't hate that RDJ is coming back, I'm actually really excited for the possibility. My only problem is that they revealed it and didn't leave it for a surprise in the film. The impact of that reveal in the film would've been amazing.

I love the choice of RDJ as Doom. I feel that the reason Feige went with Kang and the Multiverse saga originally was because they were terrified of repeating themseles ( a la Thanos, infinity stones, a hulk like/ warlord super strong villian). Obviously Multiverse saga became a bit muddled, Jonathan Majors, Disney plus, strikes, social media etc. Turns out the MCU was just too big to take that kind of creative risk. To me RDJ's DNA is a part of the fabric of the MCU, he just gets it, I'm hyped!

This has the potential to be the most expensive, stupid desperate attempt to fan bait in the history of Hollywood. I’m not going to this shitshow and I suspect, millions of others will feel the same. Epic fail.

The reveal of rdj in hall h is was something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Getting into hall h was so hard and it really didn’t disappoint. I came from Australia with my girlfriend, we’ve never been able to experience anything like this. Truely a dream come true. That said, I hate the rdj reveal 😂

People come after the story so much harder for Marvel movies nowadays. Imo Endgame has more plot holes than DP&W… Tony discovered time travel in less than a month. Like really?

My first gut reaction is that I dont like it...but its RDJ and Russos who haven't missed for me in the mcu...so I guess Im willing to give them a chance....but man o man....disney/marvel are pushing all their chips to the center of the table....Doom is like a Mt.Rushmore marvel villain...fans of his are going to draw hard lines with him..... if this move goes sour then thats it, I cant see the MCU as we know it recovering. All of their credibility is on the line with this one.

Deadpool and Wolverine was alright, good action but the story was shallow. Overpaying RDJ and the Russo bros to come back is MCU management choice, as consumers we will either support these films or stay home. It will be interesting to see if Emmy voters will be turned off by RDJ return to the MCU and not vote for him since some believed he was returning to more serious acting, he played them, or if the theater community will bomb his play.

So, the "Avengers: Doomsday" logo had the green color of Doctor Doom. But it also seemed like the "Avengers: Secret Wars" logo had the red and yellow colors of Iron Man. Does an alternate, but good, Tony Stark eventually stop Doctor Doom? Or might RDJ's Doom have some kind of redemption arc?

The one thing I can’t deny was great about the movie Is the way they included characters and props from the marvel movies we grew up on. Did anyone else notice the Sentinel leg they used to fly away from Cassandra’s lair? I think it was days of future past sentinel too
