Like a lot of people, I’ve enjoyed watching most of your videos, and you two, with the girls and the cat, are the best of the travelling bloggers. You’re all very likeable, and we all have experienced the disappointment of finishing the journey. We have our own “camp Winnie”, but are yet to do any serious travelling. Next year, for sure. I really want to re-visit all those places that I was forced to visit, because of my trade. I cannot wait. 🤗

Great video and spot on with the items mentioned. We also have a motorhome of similar size and yes it is so easy to set up and pull down. We also have gone to National Parks, Seaside carparks, the centre of small country towns etc and everything is at the tips of your fingers. So easy and convenient. We also have done both ie tow a caravan and drive a Motorhome. The winner :- easy the motorhome. We also have watched others in big dual axle caravans and yes it takes an hour to set up. We can be set up in 10 minutes. Which reminds me what is a holiday for? Simple to take it easy & enjoy time out. One should not have to spend ages setting up a caravan. Motorhome every step.

Hi guys, I too have just found your channel and love it! We are in our late 50s. With our youngest child now 22, life is changing (again!) and we are starting to plan some big trips. You are sacrificing right now for your kids, which is what good parents do. But don't say it is all over! Before you know it, the kids will be grown up and life will change again. Time goes so fast! I hope you can plan a few smaller trips to enjoy you while you navigate this next season of life. You are very inspiring!

You guys helped inspire us to buy another van, and more specifically, visit Kakadu and Crocodile Dundee filming locations. Which I will do on my 50th. But just remember, the kids will move out and you will do it all again. Another thinning out of more stuff. That’s where we are at. Hope you keep posting, and thank you.

Wallerawang NSW near Lithgow is one of the few that is actually free just turn up with what you got no bookings...it's dog friendly with off leash park electric BBQs kids play area a lake with fresh water fishing close to national parks and scenic drives and amenities that have plumbed toilets and hot showers....don't expect 5 star but for free camping it's up there....P.S if you don't like the cold don't go winter and maybe avoid long weekends but even then you will still find a patch to set up....I'm a local and it's never been so full that you can't find a spot with lake views....

Great video....ive been planning my lap with the intentions of finding my home my happy place sounds like a dream im hoping that the stars align that i find the place, meaning and purpose that i just click with a new start....so maybe i wont complete the lap....was there any place you found yourselves difficult to part with....that is my hope....the fear i face is leaving the stability of a house but whats the point if thats all it is and have nothing else and always left wondering whats out there....when i go i wont return well that is the plan....I guess thats the difference between a trip and a journey for me its all about soul searching finding my belonging....being in my 40s totally dissatisfied i guess ive hit mid life crisis early...obviously ill be rolling solo lucky for me thats all i have to worry about i am a truckie ill pick up work when required to fund myself also check out new areas getting paid on the job.

You've sold me. I saw a video a while back from a lady (I can't remember her channel) who drove to the tip in a Hyundai excel (I think). When you are in a campground with no designated spot for a few days ore more and you want to do some exploring in your motorhome but want to come back to that campground, do you leave something in you spot to let people know you are coming back to that spot later that day. Maybe a small sign, etc?

Yes that’s exactly what we have done, we’ve gone out for the day and left either our camp chairs and table. We’ve never had anything taken. If you're worried, just leave an old camp chair or two. And let your fellow campers who are near you that you are coming back.

Great to see you out there. Have you ever considered working in the RV industry. Involved with tag alongs or courses that help people who RV or want to. You would get your fix while working at the same time. Those jobs are out there. Or something similar. If the great outdoors is your passion then try to get off the rat wheel. Others are doing it. I’am not preaching just trying to help. You have so many skills that would be valued. You are mechanically minded, have lots of experience and can create video content as well.
