I read Man and symbols 35 years ago … not sure if Dr Peterson was relevant back then? Happy he is referring people to Jung .. keep reading people… stop googling … you will never learn anything

I can't imagine being so audacious as this interviewer with Jung. Anyone else rubbed the wrong way by how rapid fire and antagonistic he is with the questions? I know we're trying to cover lots of ground but... anyway.

I do not know Carl Jung's relationship with his clients and his personal life. Because I don't want to jump to conclusions to praise him. However, he seems aware of many things that most psychologists are not if any, then or today. Metaphysician & Philosopher

Well said. We should be weary to praise or worship anyone, but still allow ourselves to learn from someone's point of view. I appreciate your comment.

Man can not stand a meaningless life

now define ' meaningless '?
@Nate-cg9mm
@Nate-cg9mm 4 күн бұрын
A meaningless life is probably defined by someone's opinion or outlook on life. I would think someone who shares that view might think life should be lived with purpose other than sitting by and letting days go by without doing something meaningful for yourself or your community, humanity. To live life striving to be the best form or version of yourself.

"I was chatting with Meta AI about numbers when they mentioned Carl Jung and his book. I looked up his books and found 'Man and His Symbols'. After reading 40 pages, I was amazed by his insights on dreams. I closed the book and searched for him on KZfaq, curious to learn more. I was thrilled to find an interview with him! Now, I'm excited to read all his books. If anyone is exploring Jung's concepts, researching dreams, or working on related projects, I'd love to connect and collaborate. I've been fascinated by dreams for years and have had many personal experiences. Let's explore these ideas together!"

Man and His Symbols it`s a good place to start, I also recommend Memories, Dreams and Reflection ( his autobiography) and after that get into his Collective Works
