I don’t get it. How does its buoyancy vary if the amount of helium remains constant?

Here’s something I don’t get. If the amount of helium in the ship doesn’t change, how is its buoyancy variable?

It will be hard after design and build the aeroscraft prototype go back to built these balloons. That roof collapsing was heartbreaking.

Aeros: what happen with this project? I have a google alert and I visit the aeroscraft web page every 2 or 3 months, but nothing new.. not news at all. You run out of investment? you are in development? I love it this design, is not close to perfect, but it was a huge advance vs the competence. Maybe is time you increase the bet. Take a risk and come out with a new design breaking all rules of airships. If you dont know of what I am talking about, email me.. "[email protected]". If you cant do it, I will do it myself at lower scale.

My electroplating would remove both cost&labor of current frame (estimate 30K). It is also leak proof compared to current presumed material. A suggested design change might allow for less fuel consumption.Louis DiFrancesco 505 515 4700 [email protected]://pitek.us see stencils and squeegee blades for current production molds.

You should request an emergency FAA flight cert and use these amazing vehicles to save lives in Puerto Rico, where they are having such logistical roadblocks in distribution of need,... Isn't this what they are designed to do? Overcome inherent roadblocks ? Should have been utilized in Houston, Florida, etc. These videos are 3-6 years old, come on, my Gramma always said to shiz or get off the pot.

Question to all interested in airships, maybe you know. Some years ago I have read about a project in the 50's for an airship strategic bomber, and I couldn't find it ever again. The concept was to have a beer-can thin titanium envelope, kept rigid by internal pressure, lined with asbestos, with jet engines in the nose, their gasses running the length of the envelope via a duct, with vents along the way to super-heat the air inside. It was a jet powered hot air balloon. Has anyone else read about it? Could you point me to some materials? And how hot would air have to get to compete with hydrogen for lift?
@AngelLestat27 жыл бұрын
*Why you don't grow a pair and make a rigid hydrogen airship with modern components and safety materials?* What are you afraid of? public opinion? It does not matter what people think, once you have one.. you can said to the military.. try to put it down.. shot with everything you got, and if it is well designed, it will last more than any helium airship at lower cost, and you will get a flying permission in no time. Helium is the main cause why we don't see airships anymore. You can exploit the best combo: hydrogen, fuel cell, solar panels, no wires, no pipes, multiple engines, variable buoyancy, body lifting, air cushion, horizontal hull expansion to avoid ballonets, etc. If it is big scale, it does not even need an hangar.. how many things are built or maintained in the open? You just need to change the manufacture procedure.

I want to see this thing fly in high winds, yes it will fly, it will fly away with the wind!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As they say gone with the wind ha ha ha. It is all a waste of money and resources:-( only big companys can profit from a project such as this! Re military use that would be a sitting duck at 90 miles per hour!
