That really is a beautiful piece! Like you mentioned.. I really like that it has a more pronounced tip instead of being more rounded.

Nice looking tool... Love the handle. I was never a fan of wider curved blades But then I bought a similar knife (Wood Muk) from Mike Ware at Hawlknwolf knives and it kinda changed my mind about them.. Took a little getting used to but It is a workhorse.

I like the looks of the knife and Victorinox is one of my favorite brands, but this seems like a major copout. They sure missed their opportunity to shine!

Handsome knife. I'm really not a wooden handle guy anymore these days, but that's a purdy knaf for sure! Appreciate you showing all the attempts. Lots of armchair bushcrafters will have plenty of suggestions, but in my experience, sometimes fire can take a while. Like you said, thats what the practice is all about!
