Now that rollback dropped I’m so happy that I can finally pick up S. Labrys! I’m trying to figure things out on my own but since she’s a momentum character and I’m not used to that kind of play style I was looking for some insight on how to play her in neutral and this vid did not disappoint 🙂 Also I was wondering where you went! I’m glad to know you’re doing well and still playing Labby-Chan!

I love the use of c ball in neutral a lot and watching videos of other labrys players again reminds me I can jump cancel off chain knuckle granted it’s probably because I was scared of fuzzy OS

Just to name a couple, but at 6:03 Man you got so greedy, after the cancel you should have done just j.5B-5C and you win, and at 5:43 even with a regular autocombos you could have won, and that cost you the match, but I understand, flashier combos are always cooler haha Anyways, I remember you man, as RSquared, you have always been one of the best Labrys, watching your videos I've learned so much, thank you for the content man! Keep the good stuff.

Nice stuff Clover! One question as a beginner Lab main, why do you go for orb oki instead of sword?

There's a reason for that! When doing oki, choosing between sword oki and orb oki is making the decision between getting extra blockstun and pressure immediately vs threatening with a hit later. Sword lets you do meaty options to try and force them to block right away, whereas bubble lets you threaten them with more delayed mixup that is a lot easier to vary up the timing of, similar to using some of Teddie's items in pressure.

Terrible music Great tech though Going in the lab for this 👍🏽 But I feel some of these combos won t work anymore .. especially the corner pressure game since all characters suffer a knock back on hit or block
