of course it isn't real! it is an educational video but bro was chilling lying there like that, he's just fine, he's also a trainee doctor or actually maybe he is an actor.

This is my first time to see proper log rolling. This technique is very important to turn patients with neck injury or sci.

Why would you ever threaten a patient? Abusive ! Hope you left ICU!
@Noname-qk3hr8 ай бұрын
This is to test a patient's responsiveness. Something you may have to use pain to get a response because other means aren't getting any results. It wasn't a threat she have to make the patient feel little pain

No inflated comment from me but your EDV and CVP equipment is an attractive quality piece of equipment for Neuro ICU patients, a mere look at it and its functionality explains how beautiful that hospital equipment is.

I know we can't comment on some of the videos. I appreciate these videos. But on the change lf shift video, "Nurse Joan" reported she gave a 50 milligram bolus of Fentanyl. Did the patient survive?

Thanks for the educational video. I'm a newgrad RN in the MICU, and took over the care of a patient with an EVD for the first time yesterday. Q1 neuro checks + Q1 drainage and ICP documentation. I didn't get the chance to see the drainage and monitoring system get set up, though. So this was helpful.

Very helpful video to visualize process. When we are transporting patients from bed to stretcher, do we have to clamp the stopcocks?
@hollyfeist7846Ай бұрын
@@zamoradesouza3121 Please consider turning the stopcock to an off position to prevent drainage that is based on position not ICP. Make sure to open after transferring the patient (if that is what your orders are).

As I was thumbing through these videos and thinking back on the nearly three months of laying there hooked up to one of these it dawned on me how painstaking these patience (like myself) must be for the nurses who are task with seeing after and monitoring them. Thank you for what you do and expressing an interest in furthering your knowledge!
