Thanks so much! I just started uke over a week ago and got the basic C maj and complimentary chords down but my strumming has been horrible and I couldn't figure out why. I watched several videos and yours was the only one who emphasized and demonstrated loosening up the wrist. My strumming sounds so much better now!

I strum it like this ( T= thumb down fairly slow) T& D& Du Du &uD and then break into the island strum on the chorus

@@poco_a_poco_music any particular songs or just more of this style? I have a lot of obscure songs I can arrange for the ukulele that sound great
@poco_a_poco_musicКүн бұрын
@@TenThumbsProductions Obscure sounds good, and intriguing. I also like indie video game soundtracks. Like Outer Wilds, Undertale, etc. I watch some harp content and that kind of stuff pops up a lot and I enjoy learning it. But, man, I also need me some gateway Country. I’ve been meaning to listen to some country for the longest time but don’t know where to start.

I know this is an older video, but I wanted to mention I'm going through and learning a few of the chord melodies you've done. Between you and another page or two, I've come a good way over the past year. I've got your Bare Necessities, Shook Me all Night Long's - your full version, and the verse and chorus for Santeria. I'm headed back to learn the other deviations, and there's a few more of your songs that I've only learned enough to get started. I don't need anything, but thought a kind word from a fan can't hurt. I'll say Sublime, RHCP, etc are some of the favorites. Anyway, thanks for your hard work

What kind of audio interface do I get? Do I need another cable to connect this to my Mac?
@TenThumbsProductions12 күн бұрын
Depending on what you want to do start lower budget. Are you only recording ukuleles or a full live band at the same time? You need more inputs to record more instruments at the same time, if you are only working with 1 uke you can get a scarlet two input interface and it will come with the cable to connect to your computer. A lot of times the cables are USB A, so if your mac only has USB C you’ll need an A to C converter.
