Those are Cicadas. They live in the ground most of their lives. There are a couple of varieties, a 13 year type and a 17 year type. This year, we have both. First time since the 1800s.

Strangely, I haven't weighed one yet. New short soon to come. A rough estimate, though, would be about 1.1/100ths of an ounce. So, about 1,455.
