another example of transit police being idiotic wastes of space. I absolutely hate police in general because of how useless they actually are. im glad someone else has experienced how idiotic and useless cops actually are.

I noticed somebody just had to chance creeping across the tracks at the 2nd intersection even though the train was almost upon him

Even with the train in plain view, these people still drive in front of it. That's what I call super stupid.

Whew thanks for the video although my eyes are still adjusting LOL What's up with no rail-gates on a main road? While I understand the train was moving slow I'd hate to think someone speeding through and not seeing him with the red flag - very dangerous.

This is really cool. I used to live a couple miles from that area, I would visit that crossing every once in a while and I had no idea it used to have 8 inch lights and a mechanical bell!

On Google Earth we can see the rest of a line running to the North, passing under Warren St, Endicott St, Andover St, passing over Waters River, Crane River, under Yankee Division Hwy, and crossing Hathorne City.

You wake up in the morning, you stretch lazily, and suddenly some tenement block covers your sun. PS Although on second thought I think the vibration of a high capacity diesel would knock you out of bed and it wouldn't be lazy.
