I have this feature and prefer to just park my car. I do appreciate the audio and visual assist. It’s on me if I were to tap another car while parking, hard to blame technology when explaining to the other car owner.

Does this work on 2022 Arteon SEL R Line (not premium)? If I try to open the trunk from the inside, it unlocks it and I hear the typical “pop,” but it doesn’t move more than a centimeter up. So I have to manually open the trunk by pushing the emblem in. I’m wondering if my car has this foot-swipe easy open feature, but cannot figure it out.

The MK8.5 is not even being built yet. The Atlas, Tiguan, Taos, and Jetta are about to start, so they can't be too far behind.

Love the GTI's but 41k rather spend some more money and get the Mk7.5 Gold R, it better bank for buck.

I'd say for 5k more you get an MK8 golf R. Why bother getting a used 7.5 when a brand new MK8 R is Not that much more, and with the MK8, You get a revised AWD system, the torque vectoring rear diff, more power, and much more. In fact, I'd wait for 2025 and get the 8.5, with that much larger infotainment screen, Even more power, and they've addressed the capacitive touch buttons on the steering wheel being accidentally pushed on the MK8 by adjusting their placement a bit and making them harder to push. MK 8.5R is what I'm going for since my MK7 was stolen.

@@Daveyboy_GolfR Hey, so I have seen an mk7.5 for 25-29k is deff more than 5k and with that money, you can go FBO, E85 and have a speedy car without breaking the bank, plus infotainment, and all of those is not important if you want a fast and cheap car which is the vast majority of customer desire. People don't buy this cause of the interior they buy cause is supposed to reach a younger audience with not that much money and is supposed to be a car that is cheap and accessible but also freakin fast. I'm sorry your MK7 got stolen, anyhow best of luck in your new vehicle!

@@samasadventures-f1e Yeah but you're comparing a new vehicle to a used vehicle. And I've bought my share of used vehicles and I'll never do it again. I believe that If there's a car you want, but you can't afford it new, then you're better off getting something else. That's my opinion. @@samasadventures-f1e Oh and I just wanted to mention that as much as I loved my MK7 with my APR stage 2 tune and TCU tune and full bolt ons... The MK8 is so much better! I've driven both... And even though the MK8 capacitive buttons and infotainment is a nightmare... They've fixed most of that for 2025. Even with a tune and some bolt-ons on the MK7.5, sure it will be quicker than a stock MK8, but still nowhere as engaging and planted and communicative. Again I'm being totally objective here cuz I love the MK7. But if you can find a 7.5, which I think is the best looking of all, for mid-20s and it's got pretty low mileage and looks clean then I say fuck yeah

After watching dozen of videos and none of the work for me, here is how to proceed If no success : -disconnect battery -press brake pedal (to discharge all the remaining electricity in car) -connect battery again -ignition ON - you may have indication of ESP fault - to fix this turn steering wheel completely on one side, than completely to other side - ESP error will disappear - now windows (generally as in videos) , one by one move it completely down, hold button for 3 seconds, move it completely up, hold button for another 3 second - repeat for other windows - done - you are welcom (without reseting all car by battery disconnect, it doesn't work for me)
