If you can get it to shift right I put a new clutch and cable but still don't know what it's problem is it doesn't want to shift right. Cable is way to long and literally have to adjust it like it's cable is bad crazy but true got a rare yellow one with flag and stars on each side but I don't know what to think about it because I can't get the clutch cable to work right and it is brand new and they said it is the right one but it is 42inchs long and ya that is just too long for even trying to adjust but I will keep looking because it does run awesome but I don't know how it rides I pray God blesses me with the answer because I don't have the money to buy anything else. Only thing I can think of is getting a longer adjuster bolt for clutch lever?

Hi, how much of a difference between this style and chalk like 20 lbs or 95% difference in term of relative 1RM weight? thanks
@9LIVES_DIY
@9LIVES_DIY Ай бұрын
I have done my max weight 1RM using this technique to avoid the Chalk Police. So, I can't say that it necessarily does impose a limitation. I will say that the paper tends to rip easily when subjected to sweat and the stresses of hands trying to grip a bar with heavy weight dangling from the ends of it. They might not last more than 1 rep sometimes.

My '18 Yamaha V Star 250 is a bit bigger than the Rebel. 21HP to start with. V-Twin vs Parallel Twin. Modded it here and there, the Raven Black metallic with all the chrome, silver/gun metal painted parts and the like that just make it look good. These Honda and Yamaha 250's are great bikes that look bigger than they are. My V Star was designed to compete with, and resemble the mid-80's Sportster.

Hi, I'm thinking about doing this to mine too but wondered, when it cured did it impact the pliability of the hypalon? Did you end up deflating and folding the boat up after you painted? I know the hypalon can be folded up in its original state but if you painted with this product, would it harden the surface and cause crazing or little cracks to paint surface when it gets folded up?
@9LIVES_DIY
@9LIVES_DIY Ай бұрын
Great question! No, no cracking. This stuff remains very pliable, like a rubber coating. It thickens the material somewhat, so I guess you can say it doesn't fold quite as well as bare hypalon... but no, it is not nearly stiff enough to create a problem.

If you go all the way back to the 1983 Shadow 750, there are nine different distinct variations of the Honda Shadow. And each of those variations had minor differences from year to year. My favorite is the Shadow Spirit 1100. It and the Shadow Sabre 1100 are the only later models with cast wheels and tubeless tires. Way back in the '80s, the Shadow 750, 700, and 500 had cast wheels. I don't trust tube type tires to ride very far from home on.

The Rebel 250 can do a lot of things. I'm 6' 240, and I have put over 80,000 miles on 4 different Rebel 250s, mostly on interstate highways. I have ridden from coast to coast twice, I have ridden in Canada and Mexico on Rebel 250s. They are quite capable of being ridden at full throttle all day, for as long as you want. I have hit 85 mph+ GPS on the Rebel 250 on the highway at full throttle. The engine is overbuilt and understressed. It dates back to the '70s. It was designed before everything was designed with computers, so they built it extra strong to make sure it didn't break. SAVE THE PLANET!!!!!!!!! CRUSH A TESLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A different way to do a video on the starter, but very descriptive. I have a 2004 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4.7 the starter still cranks over, but I know it does need to be replaced. And yes I have been putting it off. Due to how much of a pain it is to get to. Next summer when it warms up I will tackle this. For me the video was helpful. Will be looking for more of your videos.

Not bad but, Liquid Wrench is not all that it is cracked up to be. It's an old and outdated solution. We use a product by the name of Corrosion-X. There is nothing that we have found that does a better job. We've tried everything on the market and this is definitely the cat's meow! You may need to let it sit for a short while to penetrate properly but, in the end, it's worth the wait. Just in case that doesn't work then the next level is an oxygen-acetylene torch! Yep! The good old "Gas Wrench" is sometimes the only way to go. Although, it is what we consider the last ditch and hail Mary method. Your mileage may vary.

I ended up double wrenching mine, closed end of the wrench on the O2 sensor, then a second wrench intertwine the open ends and slowly and carefully pry... Also they're either 7/8's or 22mm and I'm not sure which one but I'm pretty sure there's a tiny difference in size so one of those wrenches gets a slightly snugger fit, that's the one that goes on the sensor.
@9LIVES_DIY
@9LIVES_DIY 9 ай бұрын
Yep, the double-wrench trick works well to get some extra length and extra leverage. A closed wrench is probably best, too, but only if you can get the wire connector through it OR you cut the wire (throw-away sensor).

As a motorcycle mechanic, who has seen way to many seized examples...PLEASE change the oil regularly with a decent oil. There is NO filter, so the oil contaminants build up quickly. If the oil is very dirty or worse, low, they starve the cam and wrist pins of oil. Finding a good, used engine is hard. Oil changes are simple and the cheapest form of insurance.

Hardly anyone recommends using a can of freezing spray on the sensor but logically it would be the safest and best in my opinion.
@9LIVES_DIY
@9LIVES_DIY 9 ай бұрын
That would probably work pretty well, I imagine, if you can spray primarily the sensor and shrink it a tiny bit. Maybe even better if you heat up the exhaust, spray the sensor, and don't care about damaging it.

Can any tell me what type of seat is on this bike?? Or where to get on similar??
@9LIVES_DIY

As far as I know, this is a stock Rebel seat. It mounts properly to the provisions on the frame. I have seen Rebels with longer seats meant for 2 riders, but I believe the rear portion is a separate piece. I'll take a look at the seat when I am near the bike again (it is 1000 miles away, at present) and see if it happens to be aftermarket.

I just picked up a 1982 achilles st-5 hypalon dinghy, and I have to ask did yours smell extremely strong like plastic/hypalon? If i even touch the boat it leaves a strong odor on your hand, so far i have scrubbed it down twice with dish soap/bleach and dish soap/30% vinegar. The vinegar seems to help the most. Thanks!

As a child I harvested tad poles and salamanders captured in a neglected pool in a McLean, VA backyard. I raised the tad poles to frogs and relased them into the same woods near the pool into a creek that fed the Potomac River. Did same with black with yellow polka dotted salamanders. Once had 35 box turtles found on paths after rain storms. Virginia, a boy's paradise. Now I live in the desert.
