Wow, what an awesome video! We'd love to see another one where you show us how you organize everything if you're going to study a specific type of bug for a week or so. How do you go from reading and practicing to actually hunting for bugs?
@g0lden1Ай бұрын
I can definitely do a follow-up video to this :) How do I go from studying to hunting: 1. I limit my study time so that I actually spend hands on keyboard time hunting. That is on purpose 2. I structure my readings, notes, and highlights in a way that is accessible. So by vuln type and also by tech stack (if possible). So I know where to look while hunting if I want to reference stuff. 3. As I study I am trying to make my own "checklists" for certain things, but that is still definitely a work in progress haha

Thanks for such a great video! One of the most epic features of Readwise I use is Twitter integration ie “send to readwise” which magically arrives into Obsidian for me. This is great because tweets are fleeting on my phone’s notification screen and this allows me to capture them in a jiffy!
@g0lden1Ай бұрын
Exactly! I have really gotten addicted to the ability to just pull those "fleeting" things out, parse them later, and have it all save to one location

For anyone running into an issue with netaddr that might not know what to do, make sure to install python/pip with 'sudo apt install python3-pip' and then 'sudo apt install python3-netaddr' on the machine they are running this script on. It wasn't mentioned as a prerequisite.

when running Gungnir it has no actual file so it doesn't work. i think you might have meant go run main.go which does work for me but filtering doesn't seem to do anything when i provide a url webiste in a text file. shouldn't their be a Gungnir.go file or something to actually execute something?
I had to go into gungnir-1.0.8 then CMD then gungnir is this main.go the tool? So i can do gungnir-1.0.8/cmd/gungnir/main.go terminal directory to get to the tool because typing Gungnir within terminal of the tool doesn't work for me their isn't a Gungnir file.
@g0lden1Ай бұрын
Ya so I updated the tool since this video. So either building the cmd/gungnir directory will build the binary, or just go install like the readme says and it will install the binary for you :)

Isn't the same data in the Certificate Transparency logs?
@g0lden1Ай бұрын
Some but not all. For instance, self-signed certificates and certificates given by a custom/private CA do not not go into CT logs.

Nice info. I am the one that asked about running this on a PI in your discord. I ended up running this on my PI 4 at 5k with default timeout. It took a little over a day and was only using about a quarter of the CPU. Def can run this on lower hardware and maybe at your home if you have decent enough internet.

@@g0lden1 thanks for reply! I can't bring this cluster live on Ubuntu 22, it seems to run on 20.04 but installing rancher and treafik is failing. so I have to install rancher manually after all ... any guidance on compatible versions for kube VIP, cert manager, k3s and so on? Or you tested it only with versions specified in your ansible yaml?

@@EmarcelComhonestly I might have misspoke it may be 20.04. my video on how I spun up kubernetes goes over how spin up k3s, traefik, etc. I used ansible and techno tims ansible playbook. github.com/techno-tim/k3s-ansible
