That sounds great. What kind of pick up does your guitar have? I am trying to get rid of that quackie sound of Piezo pickups so I am looking for something to use when playing live.

Seymour Duncan makes 1300 different pickups.. which ones are those? I got some ebay ones for a strat, sound similar, warm, fuzzy, they work. Good for if you want that sound. Hard to get a crisp clean sound though. Also got some china humbuckers in another, they can sound nice on some settings but wont clean up. Got some Seymour Duncan Saturday night specials on the way.

Thank you!! I was looking at this or an esp ltd 3c-1000. I don't need super heavy metal tones. I'm looking for something that gets that good gutty grit on it. You know, the good hard rock/ classic rock tone that my gretsch can't do. I keep coming back to this. Thank you for the response!!! This will probably be in my stable shortly lol

I bought this with the gold binding and and inlays. For 600$ it was a demo. My only complaint. The gold electrolytes on the electronics are not good. My soap bar where I rest my hand . The gold is wearing off quickly. This guitar is excellent thou. As a guitar player I don’t know what else you need. Great guitar ! Absolutely a great guitar. There are those who complain about the weight. I guess they never played a Gibson. This guitar does what a Gibson won’t do to save money. The pick ups are made in the USA. How they did that at this price is amazing . And tone pros added in . What else do you need ?

Is stainless steel frets a lot harder? 🇺🇦
@WorshipSounds7
@WorshipSounds7 2 жыл бұрын
Yes stainless steel at a metal is very hard. Stainless steel frets require more time to work on them as it is harder to remove material.
@guyincognito320
@guyincognito320 Жыл бұрын
Stainless steel frets won't pit like that. Regular wire will look like that within 6 months of owning it if you play on it every day. Schecter doesn't put SS on the customs, but they do on the Supremes, but those models are ugly imo. LTD has the EC-1000's with SS frets. No more Fender/Gibson Epi/Schecter until SS is there starting around $800. Not playing with crap fret wire anymore.

You should have taken it to a professional. You missed a bunch of steps. Mainly the fret leveling. And buffing the frets. I use a dremel with buffing compound. And 1500 grit paper. Not steel wool. But what ever works for you.
@WorshipSounds7
@WorshipSounds7 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! I agree, I think a dremel would definitely be better. But I use steel wool because it is pretty effective and cheap. Most people either have some or can pick some of for a couple bucks.
@ozoneswiftak
@ozoneswiftak 2 жыл бұрын
@@WorshipSounds7 steel wool only scratches the surface. It does not heat up the surface, allowing the metal to absorb the polish compound. And finally resisting the new scratches because it's like glass. Plus it's like butter.

Stupid question here but after you adjust the saddle you re-tune the string then check intonation right?
@WorshipSounds7
@WorshipSounds7 2 жыл бұрын
Yep, after you adjust it, It will be either sharp or flat. So you definitely wanna retune.
@ozoneswiftak
@ozoneswiftak 2 жыл бұрын
@@WorshipSounds7 you shouldn't need to adjust the intonation unless it's out. Raising the saddle is easy. Turn it about a quarter turn at a time. Checking for string choking while doing a pull up / strong bend
