Hi Mate. What size wheels and tyres are you running on the 100? Whats the wheels offset and do they stick out at all? Im trying to choose the best offset for 285's so they sit flush just under the guard. Cheers

@@AJ-hz6sh hey mate. I’ve got 285/70-17 tyres on +35 17x9 wheels, they poke a tiny bit maybe 15mm but don’t fowl on guards when fully tucked so in my opinion they’re perfect

Tie the fan .?
@dirttrackdetours44522 ай бұрын
Hey Yeh the plastic fan blades bend when they scoop water and if your unlucky they snap and damage the radiator, and on some cars if they have a viscous hub fan it’s possible to tie it to stop it rotating just for the water crossing, some cars are more common for it than others, and Ive heard of a few occurrences on 100 series, it’s the same reason some people put a tarp at the front of the car for crossings.

@@dirttrackdetours4452 I shall repay you with a joke A farmer stopped by the local mechanics shop to have his truck fixed. It looked to be the transmission and they couldn’t do it while he waited, so he said he didn’t live far and would just walk home. On the way home he stopped at the hardware Store and bought a bucket and a tin of paint. He then stopped by the feed store and picked up a couple of chickens and a goose. However, struggling outside the store he now had a problem - how to carry his entire purchases home. While he was scratching his head he was approached by a little old lady who told him she was lost. She asked, ‘Can you tell me how to get to 1603 Mockingbird Lane’ The farmer said, ‘Well, as a matter of fact, my farm is very close to that house I would walk you there but I can’t carry this lot.’ The old lady suggested, ‘Why don’t you put the can of paint in the bucket. Carry the bucket in one hand, put a chicken under each arm and carry the goose in your other hand’ ‘Why thank you very much,’ he said and proceeded to walk the old girl home. On the way he says ‘Let’s take my short cut and go down this alley. We’ll be there in no time.’ The little old lady looked him over cautiously then said, ‘I am a lonely widow without a husband to defend me. How do I know that when we get in the alley you won’t hold me up against the wall, pull up my skirt, and have your way with me?’ The farmer said, ‘Holy smokes lady! I’m carrying a bucket, a gallon of paint, two chickens, and a goose. How in the world could I possibly hold you up against the wall and do that?’ The old lady replied…… ‘Set the goose down, cover him with the bucket, put the paint on top of the bucket, and I’ll hold the chickens.

Hey Guys, Looking to do a trip down south to Bremer Bay… maybe camping at peppermint beach. Can you take camper trailers down to the beach to camp in? Andrew
@dirttrackdetours4452 Жыл бұрын
Hey, that will be a awesome trip, peppermint is a beautiful spot. We don’t have experience towing anything down the tracks there so I feel I’m lacking the info you need. The challenge will be getting your camper trailer to the beaches. Most of the tracks are quite adventurous. Peppermint for example is a very tight scratchy tunnel like track that could require some technical reversing if you meet head on traffic. And the beach tracks to the west of bremer can be very soft and chopped out. Good luck!
