Anyone who starts to study for ccna and see the potential employment opportunities should realize immediately you a couple other certs. Or you still likely to get looked over plus you’ll want to make sure you know what your doing seeing it’s not technically entry level it it’s entry network cert

Poor advice. Most companies and organizations are going multi-cloud. Having one vendor certification above the entry or fundamental level is good. Cloud+ is a great starting point. It will help prepare to more easily pass that vendor certification.

everyone, this is not a question that is has any validity as it is used in this context. I used the CCNA and CCNP and CCIE for different reasons. but the common reasons was to learn a skillset and start and increased my knowledge. I could care less the so called value. the real value is what and why i used the certs for. It allowed me to excel my career which was my goal, to become a Network Engineer which was my goal and become Senior which was my goal. Not once did i asked myself if the certs were value. because knowledge and goal setting was the real value and the CCIP along with the rest of them allowed me to master my field more than i can imagine. chase the money and you get none. Build your skillset and the byproduct of the money will come. My famous response as of today still is "Kiel, i had no idea a router or a switch could do that"

0:58 "CCNT" or CCENT? I like how you still considered CCENT an exam that still needs effort if up for consideration to pass👍🏽, not very basic level👍🏽, & CCNA being "intermediate" level. 👍🏽 I also noticed that hardly anyone ever talks about the other "lowest entry" Cisco exam - then & perhaps still now as of 2024 - the CCT. Sorry, I had to travel back in my time machine & comment on a pre-pandemic video. 😁

I'm a 20 year old student who has always been afraid to learn IT but would like to to move past those fears and switch my mindset to a growth mindset. I am really optimistic about learning IT especially since I don't have a lot of knowledge about IT, so I am wondering if I would still be welcome in the IT family. PS: this is the first time I have come across your channel

I work in Cloud Operations & Support, but I feel like I'm stuck in that box. I want to be able to understand be to have the ability to adapt as the Cloud grows, and I may find a position to move up in my company. I just don't know what certification is going to do that for me. Any advice?

Majority of Jobs don't require you to find ingenious solutions to challenging problems. Someone extremely smarter than you has most probably already figured out the solution to the problem, your Job is just to know how to find that solution, whether its through doing Research, proper Google search, asking around, etc. Majority of People are not Einstein level geniuses who can come up with out of the box abstract solutions to complex problems, and all the Companies know this, they care about your ability to find the solution, instead of your ability to come up with the solution on the spot. If every Company was interviewing for the next Einstein, then 99% of all the Jobs would be vacant and never be filled. There are definitely extremely smart and intelligent People in the World, but that's not you, it sounds harsh but it's most likely not you. So, don't sweat or dwell over your inability to solve challenging problems on the spot, majority of People are on the same boat as you. Your Job is to understand the techniques, theories, and methods that People way smarter than you have used to figure out solutions to common real world problems, and apply that during the interview. Unless you have a PHD in STEM or Law or Finance and you are working on some R&D in the Public or Private sector, you won't really be solving complex problems in your day to day Job, you're just applying already existing solutions to common problems.

If you don't have a monitor connected to your PC, you would see whatever video signal your PC is displaying. If you have a monitor connected to your desktop PC along with your TV, by default the PC will duplicate what's on your main monitor over to the other screen.
