I didn’t take any on this trip, usually I would take legs and back steaks but the meat would have gone off by the time I got it home I reckon. Gonna take a bigger chilly bin or something in the future.

Was that the weekend just been? Think I was up in the same general location. Had same intent but shot a meat animal instead. Quite a few around need to be putting some more hinds on the ground in this area. Good work, enjoyed that video.

Bugger, that first stag just got clipped through the meaty top of the neck, he will be fine most likely.

If Zac wasn’t trying to shoot that deer in the neck I’d say the way he had the rifle laying on the pack may have contributed to the poor shot placement. He needs to slide the supporting pack further forward, so that it’s under the fore stock. At the recoil, I can see the lack of control. Great video though. I felt for you with the nine pointer! You’ll be back and they’ll hopefully still be there.
