Andrea: Here is a nicely shot video of loading film, well made, well lit and to the point. Andrea's Autofocus: "ALLOW ME TO PLAY YOU THE SONG OF MY PEOPLE" This video is still helping people 7 years on, thanks for making it.

I have a GM670 on the way-I assume loading film into it is similar??
@andreathode3782
@andreathode3782 Жыл бұрын
First of all: congrats to that! While I don’t know if its exactly the same, I guess that it is very similar. As long as you keep the tension of the roll relatively high whilst steadily forwarding the lever, you can’t go wrong. I wish you great results!

Sounds great and I hope the video (with the awful Autofocus) helped a bit! Enjoy your new medium format camera!

All pictures are nice. I registered a channel. Are you living in Istanbul? You have the aptitude. As far as a work is seen, you seem to be a professional. Were these pictures taken in GW690? Please take a nice picture. I'm looking forward to it.

Well, it came with the camera that I bought. I just checked if it has a serialnumber but it just reads FUJICA on top and JAPAN in small letters in one corner ...

I’m loading the same way but am getting image cross over? Any pointers? Thanks

Hm. If you followed the instruction to keep the film tension high while loading (lightly holding/pressing down on the roll while transporting), I guess it could be a problem with worn out transport gears ... good luck!

I downloaded the manuals earlier and read cover to cover. Didn't realize the camera was so big!!! Guess Texas Leica really fits. :) My Hasselblad looks compact in comparison and is lighter on shoulders! But 6x9!! I can't wait to see the prints.

Thanks. I got the GW 690 II model. Assume not much differences. Off to collect my camera at post office :) Seems so many videos of the GW690 III model and not too many for the I and II! Nice to see the original model :)

Glad I could help. Make sure to check the links for the manual in the description. Also, whats most important, is to apply enough pressure/tension to the filmroll, to avoid overlapping images... Btw.: congrats to your new camera!!! :)

Have you had issues with using that alignment mark for loading Velva 50 film? I think Velvia 50 seems to have a longer leader - at least a few of my rolls have had the 1st shot miss the film.
@andreathode3782
@andreathode3782 9 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I didn't load a Velvia 50, so I can't tell. Missing a whole frame seems a bit hefty though. What happens when you load the film not entirely to the mark, could that be a workaround?
