i have a problem my blower motor is on speed 5 but after a while slows down to 3 by itself. Then after a min speeds back up to 5. would this be the resistor or blower?

Great video! Very educational. I wonder though if this O2 closed loop is fast enough for drag racing applications where the run is over in 8.50 seconds.

fantastic class...im glad i stumbled across this, completely by accident too, but i watched all 3 videos. some of these CAN bus classes can go way beyond the scope of what a technician needs to know to successfully diagnose a CAN issue, but every bit of info in this series is relevant. well done

I'm experiencing the same code P2293 on my Audi A3 2.0 FSi. I thought is it was the high pressure fuel pump, it replaced the pump but the fault keeps on coming

Can anyone share how much it should cost to get an evap smoke test done? My mechanic is quoting me $170 and it seems high considering that doesn't include the price of patching any leak. But I don't know.

Tried this on my truck... didn't go well for me. I ordered a MEVOTECH TXF40302 off Rockauto. The part looks amazing and came with everything I needed. However... when I put it together, it made a grinding noise like gears barely touching each other. The old part doesn't make that sound and the 4wd engages and disengages just fine. No noise while 4wd engaged. When I pulled a vacuum on the 4wd actuator, it holds vacuum well and disengages the axle. But the gears just barely touch and make a grinding noise. Bad actuator? or bad new part (gear face too long?)?

Its great to see a tech using a DSO! Scan tools only get you so far, especially if you're an independent using a generic scan tool. Also, cool trick using the light bulb to test the circuit under load! DVOMs have their place but testing 5V/12V wiring is not one of them IMO. The mAmps at 9V output by a common DVOM come nowhere near the functioning amps of the circuit. I usually back probe the connector and use my own wire/alligator clips to create my own circuit, but in this cars case it would've been a waste of time with little knowledge gained. I'm definitely going to use your method in the future. Nice work on the diagnosis! We need more videos like this!

would just replacing the wiper motor fix the issue? novice here: I'm guessing that that could fix the issue but maybe not what caused it-
