I just really started getting into war thunder a few months ago and I've complained many times and stopped for weeks at a time cause of the grind it's like if you are not paying for the preminum account you cannot progress. Which is 190 GE everyday so it's not crazy bad but it's more than nay other game i've ever played even wow was 15 bucks a month this is more than that, and then they are straight rude about it if you complain that the grind is too much. It's insane the amount of time you have to put into this game just to try out some other parts of the game.

But the sim community in my experience it’s been a very negative community like I remember there used to be pve lobbies and I asked if it was pve or pvp one time and this kid said he’d report me if I tried pve when legit the rest of our team was bombing and crashing to rinse repeat lol like the community isn’t great to what I’ve seen

Hi there, a F2P console player here. I want to share my thoughts on the repair system and reward system as total. 1. Too many keybinds neccessary, I don't have 50% of the needed keybinds like pitch, yaw and turn engine off for example. It ain't that bad but sometimes I'd like to have them, unfortunately every simple combination already occupied for me. 2. I was an ace player at Rank 5, at least 5 kills 1-2 deaths and 2000 score. When I entered rank 6+ it changed to 0-1 kills 3-5 deaths and barely 1.5k score. My current income is approx 1k RP and 23k SL. 3. My repair cost is around 10-13k SL per match, not counting the boosters, crate openings, etc. So my total is around 1k RP and less than 3k SL. So in average, I needed to play 900 "average" matches per vehicle, based on my last research. I'm reaching my first rank 8 vehicle and as far as I saw it's almost useless. 4. I'm grinding a minor nation (Japan) and I always get full uptier. Which means that I sometimes can't even see my enemy but they shot me down across the map or when I spawn a plane I just see a white trail and a SAM lodges itself into my forehead. Very unbalanced the BR part. I play with a tank from the 70s meanwhile the enemy has tanks from 2010 and so on. A full downtier is a chore so you can imagine how painful it is. I am not someone who gets angry fast but I can't play more than 2 hours this game otherwise I will break something and I have a habit to punch my knee to calm down. Wouldn't be surprised if one day I break it. So, my tip to new players: never play alone. I'm serious. I've been grinding alone for 4-5 years and it's painful, I played with my friend for 3 weeks I had a blast
