People say I'm crazy Doin' what I'm doin' Well, they give me all kinds of warnings To save me from ruin When I say that I'm okay Well, they look at me kinda strange Surely you're not happy now You no longer play the game People say I'm lazy Dreamin' my life away Well, they give me all kinds of advice Designed to enlighten me When I tell them that I'm doin' fine Watchin' shadows on the wall Don't you miss the big time, boy? You're no longer on the ball I'm just sittin' here watchin' the wheels go round and round I really love to watch them roll No longer ridin' on the merry-go-round I just had to let it go People askin' questions Lost in confusion Well, I tell them there's no problem Only solutions Well, they shake their heads And they look at me as if I've lost my mind I tell them there's no hurry I'm just sittin' here doin' time I'm just sittin' here watchin' the wheels go round and round I really love to watch them roll No longer ridin' on the merry-go-rounds I just had to let it go I just had to let it go I just had to let it go

Words of a dead man in his final days, after he proclaimed the Beatles being bigger than Christ, who carries the gun of the Spirit of God. "I'm shot", John said.

You have so much wrong in one post. Bigger than Jesus was 1966. Lennon was killed in 1980....almost 1981. Do keep up, vindictive "Xtian".

Its to bad he was taken , but in our society when a person becomes to big and millions listen than millions of minds and hearts can be changed and for the better ... our government cant have that so they eliminate the threat. God bless us for his time with us and if the people of the world would stop listening to their governments and just be in peace than than the world really would live as one.

Mr. Lennon was a genius. Simple as that. The loss has been a hard many-a-songs that could have been because of a crazy person. What a terrible shame. Really effected me to this very day...past middle-age What a drag. Not cool, man. I hope his sons are doing well. Thank goodness his genetics still circulate on this planet. Honestly. They are both very talented. Even if they don't decide to further compose music themselves. It's good to know his genes can potentially circulate.

I'll never forget the first time I heard this song playing in my moms boyfriend's car. I was in love with it. I think I was 12 years old. I begged him to borrow me the CD so I could listen to it more. He didn't want to but ended up saying yes. Love John Lennon. ❤
