Really surprised by the assasin's second ability (to kill a chip from the supply either). Like it was developed to create a natural berserker/bannerman killer. But now you have another berserker/bannerman. Being a single S tier unit in a draft, it simply has no countermeasures, it's so easily sticked with a victim and killing it in two hits. Games on warchestonline I've seen goes on the same line - assasin small bag and poisoning/killing everything one by one. What's your opininon on this guys?

I like your videos, man. Could you please consider some series of guide videos or something like that? It would be helpful for most players to understand the basis of high level play, what to focus, how to adjust to different situations etc. As for me i'm stuck at my current elo of 350+/- at bgg and would like to break that roof)

Can you guys do a review on my first BGA arena game: Replay War Chest #24951568 ? My username is haydensmith54 on BGA It wasn't a long game but it was v berserker and had an interesting strategy consideration at the end of the game. Also curious your guys' thoughts/opinions on it.

My first live game. So different. I had this fantasy of showing up to a live tournament and acting like I don't know how to play, but then crushing it. But now I'm not so sure I would do well because it's such a different experience.

Using the archer to take out 1 scout was good, then bolster archer off would have heyyour chubby bag lose weight.

At 4:40 a good reason to move the marshall up and a reason I use is that the lancer could make you a nice target when the bag refills, although this time you happened to have a scout so it wasn't as much a threat. It's a minor thing ultimately but I've had games where the lancer hit me twice back to back for going right.

When lc controlled, why not mova toward his back point? When you are that far behind you Have to take the opps pts.

Drafting can definitely determine the game, very much a minigame with rewards.

I'm on the 13:06 I thought, NoWhat should recruit the second bishop instead of the second LC? Mostly because he has the initiative. You could move and control with two bishops without your next bag rotation. And by seen his new hand after the rotation its a guarantee win, you control with RG, you move bishop recruiting Merc, you take initiative, next round control bishop/control merc. Yes, there are chances to draw a bad hand, but most of the random is good for you, so chances are quite low.

I really like your suggestion of moving the Mercenary to the bottom right to force the Bannerman to bolster. Especially if you recruit it with a Bishop and therefore attack the Crossbowman all in one go. I will say - since the Mercenary can be killed by the Trebuchet, it doesn't really matter if you move the mercenary onto the point or not, since the Bannerman will be able to get onto the point by the end of the round anyway. It's probably better /not/ to recruit another Mercenary to improve your odds of drawing a Light Cavalry in your next hand. So I think after moving the Mercenary to the bottom-right and using the Bishop to kill the Crossbowman, I'd move the Light Cavalry onto the point, and claim initiative with the Royal Coin, which I think is what you suggested too.

I didn't finish to watch this game, I'm at the moment where RG eliminated and Alex think he will win. I wanna predict that his opponent will switch to small bag swordsman, and Knight + Archer is not such a good defence, because Alex have full bag of Mercs, and swordsman is very good late game unit, and it could move closer to Archer. But swordsman alone will not win, it will be late game switching back to scouts to capture the last point or too. But lets see :)

I think Lasticot give a great fight based on what he gets from the draft. Also didn't see any reason to ban Merc when you are the one who pick first. Leaving the Merc in the pool basically forcing Andy to ban it.

If Azhawa banned banner do they still take Merc WP?

At the 29:30 mark, Smart Li knew the most bannerman that Azhawa could have had in hand was two. He was redrawing Knight, Bannerman, X. So when he moved with bannerman twice, it was exposed that the third coin was for certain a knight.

Nicely done, really enjoyed the video! :) By the way, in the first game I probably would've moved the Ensign next to the friendly base to threaten the Pikeman (with Sacrifice) instead of moving it next to the Marshal.
