Love this. Fantastic and clear content. Using this for my airsoft warm ups. Went to my first game yesterday and was having to point shoot almost explicitly due to the mask impeding the rear iron sight on the M4 body. Really considering a G17 sidearm for closer quarters now.

This works !! I've been cutting Clovers at 12 yards Glock 43 .... Your trigger finger does feel separate from your hand which is a plus. Also I've moved into that next phase of feeling not sight only a few times 👍

Thank you for the tips. One of my best friends was murdered in his backyard 12 years ago. The assailant hid in the shadows of his backyard until he came out and shot him. A dog, motion lights, and cameras would have saved his life that night.

Sounds great 👍 but how about drawing when someone is drawing on you or has already drawn on you? Now it’s a situation of nerves and anxiety. Weekend warriors practice shooting at cardboard targets that don’t speak, don’t threaten, and definitely don’t shoot back. You can be a marksman on paper, but when the bullets fly your direction and may remove the top of your skull, will you keep your kool and breath - squeeze the trigger or will all that training go to the wayside while you dirty your shorts, drop your weapon and run or do a magdump over your shoulder while running as fast as humanly possible? I have found my civilian self in a remote situation where back up/ let alone badged backup was never an option. Facing a well armed drug ring with sophisticated weapons and night vision, lazer sights etc. trying to keep a family of four , including children 5&8yrs . My first clue to being a target was the red red glowing between my eyes and my eyeglass frame . Fortunately, I had prepared for similar situations ( though not quite as elaborate or sophisticated). I was able to slip into deep concealment ( i was on home ground, they were not) and get the drop on the leader of this local drug ring without fireing a shot. A firefight would probably have ended much differently, this time the good guys won and no one was killed, but it required nerves of steel. Not bragging or glorifying any deadly situations, my point is we need to find a way to train with consequences for not using cover, being cool under incoming fire etc. maybe that’s what paintballs are for, or bb’s with full protective gear, etc. but some kind of training that is interactive and hurts when you don’t keep your head down! Thanks for my rant, hope it saves a life, cause it saved mine! 🎉🎉🎉

See I like this. I posted my AR that I just built it's my first ever and every fkn comment was talking about how 1gn0rant I was and how my handstop is in the wrong place and how I have no clue what I'm doing and I shouldn't own a firearm. I'm 6'4 and I rock it with the stock fully extended so that's why I have my grip on the second mlok opening on the bottom. It's a full 16in shroud and barrel.

I normally carry a Glock 19 or a shield appendix but i do carry a full size p320 or Glock 17 at 3:30-4 o’clock in colder months when im wearing my dad flannels and jackets, like they said in the beginning, don’t get caught up in the debate of what’s good and what sucks. Do whatever works for you and whatever guarantees that you’re going to be carrying

Was in this same boat myself once not long ago. So many reviews said P365 was a winner, but it felt too small for me and I had to break my grip to eject a mag. Many people said the XL was “the perfect size” for them, but my dangling pinky felt like I couldn’t get enough purchase on the grip for optimal recoil control. Went with the XMacro (Tacops) for increased FPS / range. Considered a P320/M18 but it felt like too much effort for concealed carry when I’m just carrying extra weight. I’m very happy with my TacOps, even Dorr drooled over it kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gLimgZejq52umnk.htmlsi=f0hd_gav_LRvn6DE

It has been my experience that most new concealed carriers pick a gun that's way too big and then they don't end up carrying it. The Ruger LCP Max is the perfect compromise: 13 shots of 380, fully loaded weighs 15 oz, and it comes with great Factory night sights. I can achieve an aimed rate of fire of 4.86 rds/sec @7yds wiith mine

So being low, on the hood, you’re not safe from ricochets… but 2 feet back and standing upright… you’re safe? Idk man. My only issue (IMHO) with the first position is knowing your holds with your rifle at that angle.
