@SidneyEhman Its not abuse at all, these animals are treated like celebrities, they practically have the red carpet rolled out for them, don’t say it’s abuse if you know nothing about the sport and the treatment of these animals.

@@Sunnythechestnutmare You act like they beat them until they do what they want them to do, it’s nothing like that those riders spend hours training horses to barrel race, and the bulls and broncs are bred to buck, they don’t tighten the flank around them to hurt them they do it to cause a small amount of discomfort or pressure, and they buck to get it off and most broncs and bulls buck naturally anyways.

@@Sunnythechestnutmare How did I prove your point, I didn’t I said the opposite of what you said, I said they do it to cause pressure and discomfort and not hurt them, you said it was hurting them, as I said before these animals are not abused or hurt in anyway, they are trained by professionals who would never hurt them, and yes bulls do buck naturally, and like I said these bulls are bred to be that way, they are not beaten or abused in any way or form to get them to buck, I myself have grown up around the rodeo scene and I show livestock and my heifer bucks randomly all the time, and I have never hurt her in anyway that is just how she is, so yeah some don’t buck naturally but most do, so don’t try to say that someone is wrong when you don’t know anything about what they are talking about.

I totally agree barrel racing isn’t abuse but just because a horse does something by itself doesn’t mean it’s not abuse. For example, some horses that have been abused will do things like attack their own back legs and “dance” because of what humans have conditioned them to do. Just some food for thought, I love running barrels too!

@@aero3318 yeah my Dan is very pampered lol! Well technically he isn’t mine, but I compete in him! He runs to see me in the pasture but won’t let me catch him 😂
